This is a marvelous BOOK! Even though it is focused on the two main protagonists, I love the multiple side-threads concerning other characters and references to Florence's history. And it is a romance that is both heart breaking and uplifting at the same time. I believe it should be published in hard cover with beautiful drawings of Florence historic buildings and monuments, and of eye-catching boys as if Luca had drawn them himself. I would certainly buy it then, and for now it is a must-read!
