You can do it! Morning, DiC! Clearly boyfriend brought the plague with him, because I’m definitely starting to get what he has. Sucks cause there’s a party this weekend we were gonna go to, but what should we do? Not touch each other? (Spoiler alert: not gonna happen.)

Will do. It’s a beautiful piece, don’t get me wrong.... I just think it fits better in the like voices category. And yeah, Song of Solomon is often deeply erotic. The lyrics we sing translate as follows: Thou art beautiful, O my love, sweet and beautiful daughter of Jerusalem, Thou art beautiful, O my love, sweet and comely as Jerusalem, terrible as an army set in array. Turn away thy eyes from me, for they have made me flee away.

Really sorry to hear that, tim. Hope it gets better soon! i had had choir practice today. We’re competing in October so we started working on our repertoire for the competition. Some good stuff in there. We’re doing this one song called Northern Lights. The lyrics are a verse from the Song of Solomon in Latin. Our conductor has decided we sing it in the sacred music category, but... it’s from the bible, but I really don’t think it counts as sacred music. It’s literally a love poem. Of course if I tell her that she’ll just be offended, so I guess we’re singing a love poem...

Maybe write one about your feelings about winter? I like winter, myself, though as previously established it doesn’t get as cold here as it does over there, so that might help.

Hope the doc can help either way. Sucks feeling that way no matter what the reason. As for the poetry, I stand by the first part of my statement, then: You’ll figure it out. You’re a marvellous poet, and you’re not lacking in the feeling department.

You’ll figure it out, tim. If you want to. You don’t have to do everything all time time. Morning, everyone! Or afternoon in my case. I didn’t sleep until now, we just had a lazy morning. Made bacon and eggs for breakfast, had some tea, talked a while. Boyfriend has a sinus infection, we think. Let’s see if I can avoid getting one, too...

I wanna try writing some different styles of poems... Been thinking of trying to write a Shakespearean style sonnet. But I suck at rhymes, so I don’t think it would work very well. I am king of the almost rhymes.

Was called a misandrist by some guy on Facebook. Told him it would be weird if I was, given that I’m transmasculine. He told me nothing about me was masculine. That if I wanted to be a man I should act like a man. I told him that if acting like a man is being a reactionary dick, I don’t know an awful lot of men. Nothing like having your gender questioned by strangers online, but I guess that’s the price we pay for being unapologetically ourselves. Choosing my battles better next time, though...

It’s quite powerful, but it takes some getting used to. Open source, though, which is nice. Handed my laptop in for service today, to get the battery replaced. It may take as long as 26 days to get it back because they’ve had a lot of customers at the service centre lately. Could be faster too, but... Luckily, my iPad also has Scrivener and all my work is backed up in Dropbox. And I managed to get my bluetooth keyboard to work, so I can still write. Yay!

Yeah, I didn’t write this character to make things easy for myself or my readers, put it like that... Your feelings are pretty much what I’ve been hoping for people to feel. Loz is definitely responsible for his actions, at the same time that he’s a scared kid. I’m pretty much in the same boat as you; angry and sad for him in equal measure. Thank you for this long and thought out comment!
