Yes! thats it, thanks! It's been bothering me for a week or so that I couldnt remember it haha

So i've been trying to remember the name of a story I read a few years ago on Nifty (I think) and am having no luck. I hardly remember anything about it, but do remember really enjoying so I figured I'd see if the few details I have jogs anyone elses memory. It was about 2 college guys starting a relationship, and was pretty long and well written. The one plot point i really remember is one of the two guys got scared/nervous/questioning of the relationship and ran away to Europe (Italy i think). boyfriend couldn't get in touch with him at all. The boyfriend got depressed and his life was going down hill then the guy who ran away showed up in the middle of the night to the boyfriend's apartment. Then they lived happily ever after? Don't really remember the ending. This is half because I want to read a good nifty story and half because its bugging the hell out of me that I can't remember it haha. any help?
