This was an amazing story. I put various aspects of my life on hold to finish reading it, as I got so drawn in. I am torn about starting to read the semi-sequel with Luke as I know it is unfinished and judging from the length of time since Dom has last posted, it is unlikely it will be. But, really. Desert Dropping is so good!

You know what? I'm actually glad something went wrong at the end (although hopefully not TOO wrong). I was starting to feel that things were a little too ideal and this certainly revs up the dramatic tension. Rooting for Rhyder to survive relatively unscathed.
