I just finished the ebook of (Un)Masked, and went on to read this short story. Both are beautifully done and have me a bit teary-eyed.

Ha ha. I don't think I even know how to do that! But I am glad to hear a sequel is definitive.

After reading the latest update, I decided I could not wait any longer for the rest and bought the e-book. Nice to see the new ending.

I originally read this story on that other site you don't seem to like talking about. It is actually what led me to search out your other stories and find gayauthors.org. Just spent the day rereading the story so far. It is just as good as I remembered. Maybe even better. I look forward to the updated ending!

I am feeling very anxious for Erie. It sucks not to be able to come out under your own time line. I do think the boys could have handled it better. They really did not need to do it the same day as the shower incident. Luke had the right instinct that they really needed the time to talk it over where it wasn't quite so rushed. I would have suggested go on the actual real date first, maybe somewhere kind of public so they would be seen, and then just stop denying any rumors about it. But, I guess this way creates more drama, which was probably your point!

Lovely story. Thought there might be some last minute drama before Alexia left, but it was also nice to see things wrap up problem-free. I take it things did not work out for Alexia and Nic, though.

Nice to see you found a way to sneak in an appearance by Darryl! Good to see Nic has come around, although that thread was wrapped up quicker than I would have expected. In fact, there doesn't really seem to be any major issues left to resolve which makes me think you are just about done with the story? Or is there a new complication about to rear it's ugly head?

I wasn't too surprised that Alexia was the complainer, although the fact she is dating Nic was a bit of a shocker. Also seems like there's some interesting history between Nic and Jeanine. I take it she is the cute kayak instructor Sean mentioned a few chapters ago that Nic was shacked up with last summer? Seems like she'll be much better off with Noah. Although it seems everyone is pairing off! Surely someone will remain single over the summer. Well, I guess there's always Levi...

I love the way Troy has opened up. But while going home may be the quick solution, I somehow doubt that will be the actual resolution here. But maybe the threat of it will force Nic to handle the situation better.

Well, Luke should be happy that Erin will not just ignore him at school. So Erin is already ahead of Luke's last boyfriend! I love Jameson's mixed signals, but I guess that part is at least cleared up and shouldn't confuse Luke any more.

So after over a week's worth of reading whenever I could fit in the time, I have finished all your published chapters of Gone From Daylight. It is easily the best vampire series I've read since the early Anne Rice novels. The angst, suspense, romance, and epic scale of the writing is truly enrapturing. Since I read the entire series all at once, I could really appreciate the clues you planted early on that had some significant payoffs later in the story. You have even given me a little hope that Taryn will survive, as the light that Justin occasionally sees seems to be tied to being able to break the circles. At least that is what I think he did when he saved Fallen from being riddled with bullets. And if he can do that, maybe Justin can break the prophecy surrounding Taryn's death. Great story, and I hope that we'll see a continuation of it soon.

So, you now seem to have linked this story to your earlier "Falling for a Bear," yes? Noah's cousin Darryl is the same Darryl who Noah says has a favorite bear cousin that has to be Todd since it's also mentioned that this bear cousin has a human lover who gets to go on the bear fishing trips. I am assuming we won't see Darryl, Todd, or Hoyt in this story, but it is nice that yo seem to be building a whole interconnected world for your shifter characters.

With the way these two keep marking each other up with their love bites, I foresee that their sexual relationship is not going to be a secret for much longer. Glad they are starting to resolve their differences, and that Troy has a very special birthday present in mind for Paddy!
