Hi Hamen-Cheese ! You probably don't remember who I am. A while back, I wrote you an e-mail about Charlie, and then began reading Adamagika the Spirit Within, and wrote you my impressions every five chapters. At the time, you didn't begin Spirit of Vengeance, but was thinking about it. I told you I would read it. But I ended reading only recently. Anyway, I liked this story as much as its predecessor. To tell you the truth I have a hard time remembering if Sam appeared in the original story, or any of the Spirit of Vengeance characters. I don't think so, but I may be wrong. The characters were as endearing as in the other story. Matty was sweet, Ernie and Nathan where funny. I liked Sam's relationship with his family, particularly with his brother, Joe. I wonder why he was kidnapped, what has he that's so special. I hope Sam and Joe will reunite one day. I hope the same for Sam and Matty. I wonder what's so special about Matty, because it seems a lot of characters seemed to think it was the case. Maybe it wasn't a coincidence that he was the one to be possessed and not anyone else. I also would like to see Ernie and Nathan again. They also seem to have potential... Ernie and his talent and need to hide behind humor. Nathan and his fascination with plants. Lance was a very twisted character. It seems strange to me that he would be that much full of hate. I've got the feeling it's his father who transmitted him that in his education or something. Wonder if he'll appear again... It probably won't be good, if that's case. But who knows. I also liked Sam's uncle, sad he had to die. I hope we'll know more about the missions he had to take for the Lady. The plot was as always very good. It was very interesting to know about the life of other mages, who use a different sort of magic. I liked to know more about the Lady of Water (again, I'm not sure anything was said about her in Spirit Within), and about this world origin and all the founding deities. I knew something was going to happen to Sam's family, but I didn't think the Lady of Water would turn out being so evil ! I really didn't see it coming. Nor did I think Sam had a spirit within him. Since he attacked Adam, I wonder what will happen. I hope you'll be back soon to write the other stories of this saga. ^^ Take care !
