Hello Everyone, I just registered with this site. Nick sent me an email regarding my story "Substitute Dad" and invited me to pop in here for a visit so here I am! Some of you may be reading my story (It's on Nifty and it's gradally being posted on the Rainbow Community Writing Project site - www.rainbowcommunitywritingproject.com and it's also available on www.storylover.us.) I'd appreciate hearing from any of you who are reading it. It is my first story attempt and it has taken on a life of it's own.
Nifty has posted it in the Adult/Youth section, however, I can assure you that it does not contain any sexual content involving minors. It's the ongoing story of an incredibly tight and loving bond which forms between a young fatherless boy and a young bisexual man. Both characters have had a hard life and Tommy (the older character) has had more than his fair share of hard knocks. Tommy and Josh (the younger character) originally met at summer camp (Tommy was his counselor). Tommy was the first person who really paid much attention to Josh and cared about what he thought an how he felt. This leads Josh to open up to him and to bond with him. Sadly, they lose track of each other after that summer but they are reunited 18 months later when Tommy rents a basement apartment from Josh's mother. Josh (who has an absent, abusive and alcoholic father) begins to really bond with Tommy after he moves in. When tragedy strikes, the two are driven together once and for all and it is the start of an amazing and heartwarming relationship which takes them through a series of major challenges and adventures. Together they deal with a number of very serious issues all the while melding closer and closer together as "Dad and son".
As I said, this is not an adult-youth sex story, this is a relationship story which shows a positive loving and mentoring relationship between the two main characters. The story starts with the premise that there is a difference between a father and a dad and then sets out to prove it. The only sexual content which might appear in the story (it will be very tasteful and NOT pornographic in any way) will involve adult characters only.
