St. Bernard parish Adrien, and yea the hurricane sucked. My house was destroyed, but, my family is well off I suppose I should say. My dad works for an oil company so we don't have many money issues. There is still all the emotional stuff, yea, we only lost one family member in the storm thankfully. No, not many stories, basically laid in bed depressed for the first 3 weeks after the storm, cell phones were down meaning no contact with my friends so I didn't know if anyone was hurt/stranded/dead. The gang's all fine, but now we're seperated (I'm home, two friends are in texas permanently, one is in Missouri also permanently) I was finally about to tell the three friends I trusted most and the storm screwed it up. Now I have to work up the courage again Honestly, I'm ok with it all now so it's no big deal. Oh, and of course i'm familiar with both Slidell and Mandeville.
