  1. Part 1 Summer Nights 4 (Japan) It took me a while to make a plan to get rid of my family for a few hours. I mean, what could I do? We were on a family vacation after all and, besides, there was the matter that my brother, Chris, was still mad with me. He bought new bento boxes for me but we didn’t say a word. In the end, the idea came when I was on the elevator and saw the button for the onsen, those hot springs at the top of the hotel. I went with my parents immediately.
  2. Part 1 Summer Nights 3 (Japan) I had dinner, set the alarm, and threw myself on the pillow. Chris didn’t talk to me back in the room but I didn’t care, this way it was easier to sleep, and that day, sleeping was important. “Tomorrow, I wake up early.” The thought of it was enough to make me smile. You want to know how to tell if you are excited? When you wake up before the alarm blasts off. I stood up, turned off the alarm before it rang, got dressed, walked as silently as I could
  3. Part 1: Summer Nights 2 (Japan) Let’s admit it, it’s pretty stupid to fantasize about running into a boy you saw fifteen seconds in the lobby of some hotel. Anyway, that’s what my head did for the rest of that day. And the next one and the next one. Idiotic, isn’t it? Even my parents asked if there was something wrong with me. I told them it was nothing but the excitement of the journey and it was true, a cute boy wasn’t gonna take that away from me. Yes, I thought about
  4. Part 1: Summer Nights 1 (Japan) I never was a brave person. It’s not my fault, it’s my mind’s; the bastard enjoys sailing through every impossibility, repeating what I can’t do, what would happen if I fail and, above all, reminding me how horrible it is to be rejected. And what better example than my neighbor? This story is not about him, why? I never told him how I felt about him. We met since he moved here when we were both five-year-olds, we were good friends for years b
