  1. So is there a progress update on The Black Prince? I've been waiting for the book since I finished The Fifth Column back in January 2009. It's been nearly 2.5 years since that last book and well I need my fill.
  2. Woah, what the hell. Yeah, for some reason Lulu is no longer listing Grip in their online catalog. Topher-san, any clue where we can purchase this book now? (I kinda been saving for school so I put off getting that first week.)
  3. Run for the hills... Nah. You're handsome.
  4. I'll buy and read it in the next week or so. From your one line description, I'm not sure what sort of "racing" you're referring to though. I'm hoping it's not the NASCAR/Indy kind. EDIT: ZOMG! Where is yer top hat?!
  5. Just hope the(ir) new(born) AI doesn't turn evil.
  6. Oh I wanted to ask you this: was it Sepharon's (can't remember her name spelling) intent to have Duncan try to humanize and bring some evil to the public image of Prince Edward? I understand why Darien needed to avoid the Amsus. Without the Excalibur, he really can't go after the Amsus anyways. I just wish he wasn't dying from what seems to be Parkinson's Disease.
  7. Oh...I was hoping that glimmer that Galadriel saw in Rikard would be more than a faint hope of the heart. Oh well, at least I can look forward to Alexander Vongrippen in action (no...not that kind of action...hehe) as he commands the Imperial fleet again to crush the Amsus (and their stubborn AI overmind) back into the pre-Stone Age.
  8. Good thinking (and observations) there Kadin. I had most of the same conclusions. I loved the transitional effect of Duncan into Alexander R. Vongrippen. Too bad he looks like Prince Edward/Matthew Elias. Sadly, I had hoped that Ben was for real rather than an illusioin created by IE 2.0. Now that I've finished The Fifth Column, I eagarly await The Black Prince. I really hope Rikard doesn't die...would be a major blow to Galadriel and basically screw over everyone (and maybe Edward/Matthew) on Peligia. I take it is too soon to ask for hints on whether or not Rikard turns "evil" again in The Black Prince?
  9. So far so good. I sent you a few PM's over Lulu about some grammatical mistakes and such. I'm only about 70% through the book, but I'll post my own review here when I'm done. I also noticed a few things that don't quite make sense. ** SPOILER WARNING ** For example: the planet Rikard, Galadriel, Cornelius, and Alvin (and Lady Tagria *wink wink*) are trapped on...it's mentioned that there are no stars visible in the sky. But when they escape the planet, they manage to jump into "normal" space. The way I understand space travel is that stars (and thus constellations) are used as reference points when you're in an unknown area of space. So if they didn't have any stars or constellations to use as references and they did not know where they were in the universe, how did they manage to jump away and back into normal space? Also, I thought blind jumps were in essence suicidal since you wouldn't know if you'd end up inside a sun or a planet or some other thing in space? Feel free to correct me if I made a mistake somewhere as I've confused different series of books with each other before.
  10. http://darien.taine.youaremighty.com/ Darien Taine, the greatest character since King Authur.
