  1. The key slowly spun on the old door, its wood screeching as Niko flared it open. He seemed slightly embarrassed, moving to the side and letting Oliver, who stood behind him, finally enter his room. The blonde first noticed how small it looked from the inside. And messy. Not at all the pristine, sterile, soap-scented picture of the hotel he had been sleeping in. And yet, it was by far the coziest room he had ever set foot in. Niko jumped in front of him and began picking up his dirty clothes off
  2. I'm humbled by your comment, specially coming from a fellow author! 🙏
  3. Thank you for giving my story a chance. Hope you continue to enjoy it!
  4. Oliver sat on the cold steps leading up to the hotel, one of his feet nervously tapping against the ground as his turquoise eyes scanned the driveway, waiting for Niko's scooter to show up. It was around 8:30 am when he finally began to agonize. It was still cold, the morning sea breeze prickling the blonde hairs on his bare legs. He recoiled and wrapped his arms around his knees, nestling his chin over them, his gaze barely hopeful. But after a couple of minutes, he sighed with frustration. Did
  5. He's definitely a challenging man, but I believe he may be underestimating his son's determination...😉
  6. John is...definitely an obstacle to our boys. Some people are just too caught up in what is expected of them, rather than what is actually important.
  7. Oliver's beating chest rested pressed into Niko's back as they descended a narrow, dark road. A part of town Oliver, despite having been on that island so many summers before, had never set foot in. The pavements weren't unadorned either or simple-surfaced. They were made of granite, thick, cube-shaped stones placed together like a fine tapestry, which made the scooter tremble as it rode over them. Oliver's eyes were closed, his arms wrapped around the green-eyed stud, and his heart felt whole.
  8. Hey, Pal 😊 nice to see you here! And yes, I'm a "sucker" for beach themed romances. 😋
  9. It was a most enlightening experience going through all these messages. It is interesting to realize how many authors go through the same mental stages when writing a story, publishing it, and dealing with feedback (or sometimes lack of it). If I could put my two cents about it, it would be something along the lines of: of course, feedback matters! Stories are meaningless if there's no one to read them. HOWEVER... 😉 They've rarely if ever, forced me to detour from the story I wanted to tell. But, I do feel honored and humbled by readers who decide to take 5 minutes of their time to write something. It makes the time I spent writing the piece that much more meaningful. And I always reply. Regarding the "emojis review" as I lovingly call it? I don't mind them. They're an excellent way of giving the author a pat on the back and a "job well done" without sacrificing too much of their time. Happy readings! 📚
  10. I'm humbled by your sweet comments, James. And I'm so glad you're in on the "journey". For some reason, I ended up temporarily shelving this story and feel like I'm entering my second honeymoon with it. Excited for what's to come. Until next chapter, happy readings!
  11. I'm already in love with Niko, myself. Oliver should brace for "impact"!
  12. Oliver's blue eyes blinked uneasily. He had been staring at the ceiling of his hotel room for hours, unable to sleep, with nothing but Jason's snoring on the other bed to keep his anxiousness company. Every time he closed his eyes and tried to sleep, the image of Niko standing over him, his body soaked in seawater, would come rushing back into his mind. And he was still trying to figure out what had possessed him to invite the stud to his father's boat trip. And now, to make matters worse,
  13. I appreciate such a wonderful comment and I'm humbled by the feedback. Thank you for following this journey!
  14. Thank you for taking the time to read it. 🙏
  15. There's absolutely no need to apologize 😉
  16. Neither am I. But I tend to search for meaning, be it in life or through my stories. There's definitely something "out there" or rather "in us" that escapes logic or comprehension. Thank you for reading! 😉
  17. It's pretty finished 😉 enjoy!
  18. Thank you for taking it with me, Sam!
  19. I'm glad you enjoyed the ride 😊 I hope to see you on my next adventure!
  20. Thank you for taking the time to read it!
  21. Thomas's lips climbed gracefully along Adam's naked body, relishing every inch of the angel's flavourful skin. Now, more than ever before, Adam's taste and smell seemed heightened, its potency enhanced by the transformation that took place the night before. The lovers lay together over a soft mattress behind the pulpit, Adam's wings resting graciously beside his body. They seemed to respond to Adam's emotions, mimicking his emotional state, and exuded a powerful fragrance indiscernible to
  22. I couldn't say...😉 but as a writer, he's been one of my most unexpected surprises. He slowly carved his way into a lead role and his journey as a character ended up becoming the core of this whole story.
  23. Pain is a part of every life. Rather than run away from it, Daniel is beginning to embrace it.
