I agree with Raz and his assessment. Mission completed, but unnecessary to involve Q. I'm glad that Q wasn't mad at Jacob and super sweet that he shows his love for Jacob time and time again. I'm sure it will be fun to learn about Jacob's parents for Thanksgiving.

“Touchy!” I poked him a few more times before he slapped my hand away. “You’ll have to tell me about these beautiful and terrible things someday.” “Just like you’ll have to me what’s weighing on your mind…someday.” “What makes you think there’s anything on my mind?” “Well, normally, I’d agree that there’s nothing up there, but I know you, Sparky.” I pushed him gently and tossed a few playful insults his way. “Remember, I’m here,” Arsen reminded me. We shared a knowing stare and a smile. It was all that needed to be said. This is beautiful and exactly why I love Arsen. Excellent chapter and so funny when Sunny called Jacob when he was right next to him. Glad some justice occurred. It was also nice to end the chapter on a sweet note with Q repairing and making Jacob a new ring. ❤️

Uh oh. I'm sure Jacob is in some deep trouble. I believe it was Zenial who gave the advice that the rare 3rd option may present itself in certain situations. I think Jacob is trying his luck a bit too much. First the ice cream shop and now his first mission. I hope Jacob isn't punished too severely with what happened. I also hope some revenge is about to happen to Dom. Also...ARSEN!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I didn't like this chapter. Too much sadness. All of Eolaeis' family are gone (basically). Sunny's tragic backstory. Jacob is assigned to kill a kid. If X didn't include the bit about Sunny and Jayden, I really wouldn't have liked it. I suppose it will only get worse from here

Fun to see that Q is training Jacob as well. I guess we will never find out the meaning of Emaneé if Ms. Cynthia won't say anything. 😭 Curious what history Eolaeis has with Q. Another great chapter X

Such a cool chapter! Learning about Iythaeryn was so much fun. Understanding that there are a few Elodians that don't hate the other side considering it's genetically made up in their creation was a fun tidbit. I was hoping this chapter explained why Iythaeryn stayed with Jacob for 2 hours while he was unconcious. It might have been answered, but might have been fun if it was formally addressed. Or maybe I'm just being stupid. The katana sounds like an awesome weapon for Jacob. Deadly and cool. Glad Jacob began training! It's fun to see the Sanctum also helping Jacob. I hope Q enjoys the weapon Jacob chose (who else knows of the bluff? Of course it's gotta be Q)

Yay! We get to learn about another Prince! It's pretty cool Jacob gets to be trained by Zenial. Why not the best of the best? I will always melt a little when I see Arsen's name. I honestly love how protective he is of Jacob and how much he cares for him. I hope their friendship never ends. So excited for the next chapter!

A weird thought ran through my head when I read this chapter. What if Q saw the potential in Jacob in not only finding love, but someone who he cares about and has the strength to end him. Probably a morbid and stupid thought, but I figured I would share that. It also probably doesn't fit because Q asked "why?". I do admire the courage and balls that Jacob has in talking back to Naveyk. 😂 Although I do support Jacob's decision to get rid of his memories, I suppose we will never know if he is the son of Sol and Juyx. I think I'll always be curious about the memories of his past and the secrets we will never know. Maybe Skailer is also toying with Jacob? Maybe that's who is calling Akuzio? So many questions...

Ms. Cynthia sure knows how to command a room. Amazing character and I love her ❤️ I would also love to see a scene of bingo night at the Great Mother's shop in the future. 😆 Glad Zac gets to stay where he is, but I do love Venice. I'm curious how the other Clubs and TBH houses around the world work and see how those interactions would entail. Also, Emanee??? I wonder what that is all about. Jacob continues to make me wonder what he'll do next (as if he knew himself).

Another curveball! Crazy it's Ms. Cynthia! Well, I hope Zac realizes how special he is with everyone basically fighting over him. I'm sure he's scared out of his mind on what's happening, but this is so much drama (I agree @Carnelian) I need to read the next chapter immediately!

Great chapter. So much fun seeing the chemistry with the 4. Made me smile hearing that Jacob is still a brother with TBH. Curious if that will result in anything in the future. I'm sure it won't, but the small details like that, make me happy. Also, a fun detail I've learned to appreciate is when @The Writer X creates a fun and cute chapter and then changes gears for the following chapter. Wonder what's going to happen next with this fun cliffhanger...

I appreciate Sunny keeping things real. I just want everything and everyone happy. It does make me happy when Jacob is with his OG gang. I'm a bit curious why CJ was so quiet and didn't have much input. Glad Zac was able to join Jacob and partake in the shenanigans. I wonder how Soullen will enjoy getting a cell phone

And just like that, we're pulled back into reality where tough questions exist and what will happen if Jacob is forced to choose. I suppose it's fun/interesting a similar situation potentially occurring with Zac and Soullen. I do kinda wonder, even if a possibility, that Zac would jump to the Nave just to preserve the love. I know he pledged his allegiance towards Skai, but anything can happen in this book. Gonna continue the journey

So romantic. Quite sexy stuff as well. Reading about Q and Jacob, just makes me happy and melts my heart. I can only hope to discover the type of love they have for each other. Beautifully written X. The emotions you make me feel throughout this novel is incredible. Thank you.

For some reason, I feel like I have more questions than answers for this chapter. Actually, it's just one. What will Jacob do with his memories? It was wonderful to see that Jacob is beloved by both factions. He is definitely torn and walking a tightrope between both factions. I can only hope he can unite both sides. It definitely made me SUPER happy that Q found Jacob ❤️❤️

Yup. I cried. Not afraid to admit it. Happy tears, but still cried. I also needed the gang back together. I'm fine with Troy not being present because he didn't really stand out to me in the first book. Still a big fan of Arsen though. I think I love him because he and Jacob have such a special bond (Arsen always knowing what's going on with Jacob and Jacob being able to confide in Arsen). I'm also relieved that Q still cares for Jacob. I hope that reunion happens soon. And hope we get some answers on what happened with Jacob and the mysteries that surround him.

I agree with @VBlew. Such a rich chapter. Love reading and learning about Zenial. Tragic and a punch to the gut back story. Still...pretty awesome that he has Requiem. Fun seeing the bond and friendship Soullen and Jacob are developing. Kinda hilarious how naive and clueless he is with the new world. And I REALLY hope that's Arsen setting up the next chapter. (I'm not sure why, but I think Arsen is one of my favorite characters from the first book). Always a genius @The Writer X

So much tension and drama! Love it! Kaylec has so much rage inside him. He needs a therapist. 😁 To keep hating for thousands, if not millions of years, definitely calls for a therapist. The small tidbit about Q's call, also made me sad. So now that we know how the "killing illusion" is done, I refuse to believe Q dies. (I want my happy ending!) But great writers know the time and place for everything. Curious about the explanation Zenial will give on why he can't link. Amazing as always @The Writer X

Very dramatic chapter, but I love it. I can only hope that the example of what happened to Steve and Raz, also happened to Q in the beginning chapter. @Philippe Brings up some excellent questions and theories. My mind would be blown if Jacob was the child of Juyx and Sol. Guess we continue reading the wonderful work of X ❤️

The more I read about Raz, the more I like him. Not to say I didn't like him when he was introduced, but great character development. A somber reminder that he'll be gone by the end of this book/series. It's nice to see another leader take an interest in Jacob and care for him. Let's see how Zenial will be Another wonderful chapter ❤️

This chapter made me feel a bit more melancholy. I miss the gang/brothers. I'm also a little shocked/surprised that Q had the brilliant mind to return Jacob's things to his dorm room. Mostly because I never would have thought to do so.

Amazing...no, stunning chapter @The Writer X. My head is spinning with everything that has happened in this chapter. Needed to re-read to absorb and process everything, but it's SO good. I also find myself always smiling at the mention of Arsen's name

So fun to learn and read about the new characters in the story. Love Zac and it's amazing how you can create a character that has qualities that people love/very likable. Also, very interesting to hear about Elijah and Liam's story. Great chapter to echo the other comments. ❤️

Hooray for Kaylec being kicked out of the club! Glad he's being taught a lesson. I'm happy and curious that Jacob wants to go back to class. It's truly amazing that all of this has happened within about 2 months. It feels like years, ha ha. Crazy
