  1. Reyna's 'Ephebian Paradise' stories. They're romantic, set in a sort of 18th century world (not earth) with magic. http://www.ephebianparadise.com/ Ann Summeriville's stories set on another ficitonal world called Periter. http://www.logophilos.net/story_index.php A.J. Hall's Harry Potter fiction. Brilliantly written, often amusing, generally passionate and coming from a completly different angle than the usual Harry/Draco relationship. http://www.shoesforindustry.net/html/ebooks.html Kouri and Karasus original fiction. Which I believe has now been taken down from their site. The Dyasty of Ghosts by P.L. Nunn. http://bishonenworks.com/fiction_new/story...rs/dynasty1.php Experiment 9: Red and Black http://www.fictionpress.com/read.php?storyid=1249692 London Calling by GioGio http://www.slasharchive.org/londoncalling/...llingindex.html Manhattan Love Story by Panuru http://www.fictionpress.com/read.php?storyid=261637 Fleur de Lys http://free.hostultra.com/~nelson6729/Rang...e_lys_Index.htm
  2. I'm sorry, I just don't follow your logic. You seem to be applying Dan's narrative structure to real-life metaphysics. Quantum physicists have already stated that there is the theoretical possibility of time-travel, or at least that no physical law would prevent it. This has not led to any ipso facto 'proof' of the existance of a supreme being.
  3. Wow, I wasn't expecting that! Pity about the time-travel scientist. He doesn't have much luck does he? I am liking the whole 'move-Davey's-friends-from-Modesto-to-Eureka' plot twist. Now all my favourite characters get to be together! I'm sensing troubled waters ahead for Brian and Davey's relationship however. Davey is just a little too certain.
  4. Thanks! Although so far it's all been the same character... Anyway, in the next chapter, you get to see what the States is like.
  5. Cool. I'll try and get the third chapter up by tomorrow (although I've got a mardi gras fundraiser ball to go to so maybe not). I'll try and remember to bold the dates up as well. As each new character is introduced in 2004, they'll get a flashback to 1992.
  6. Who's stroking Dan?! Where?!! When?!!! And can I join in?
  7. Yeah, I think Davey's Mom is reacting as a lot of people would if they found out that their 12 year old had become a 60 year old over night. In a real way, she must be grieving for the son she loved and raised for ten years. He doesn't exist anymore, he blinked out of existence without her even noticing, and now all she has is this man who's older than her, who looks just like him. And it wasn't an accident. This man became the person his is deliberately - and then put himself into her son, also deliberately. No wonder she's resentful, and finding it difficult to just say 'I love you honey' and then going to work as if nothing happened, as if her son isn't, for all intents and purposes, dead. Mother's react in very strange ways sometimes. When I was 14 I had a minor nervous breakdown and rather melodramatic suicide attempt (which involved listening to 'Angie Baby' on the CD player and gobbling paracetemol and sherry). My mother's reaction to this was to buy me a college textbook on the practice of cognitive therapy, and tell me to read it. Sometimes I wonder I came out as sane as I did. (And don't nobody make the obvious comment! )
  8. In fact, Chapter 2 is up now. Feedback would be welcome!
  9. Thanks. I started writing it a while ago, and I already have four chapters (although they need a bit of work). Chris
  10. Thanks Novelty. I get far too close to my own work to see it objectively. Oh, and if you want me to edit your second chapter I still need you to cut and paste it into your email - the file you sent isn't downloading. Chris
  11. Hi guys I've just posted Chapter 1 of 'Apocalypse Then', a novel I started writing a few months ago, just to see if I could. It's in the Library. Please tell me if you think it's any good - I'm completely unable to judge my own writing - or edit it for that mattter. Need feeback!
  12. I had the most vivid mental image when I read that. Ahem...I'm...errrr...just going to...ahh...take a cold shower now...!
