    Incredibly wasteful...my apartment complex has a 1,200 cubic foot trash compactor that is emptied at least twice a week. A similar apartment in Germany would have a couple of recycle bins and a 1,000 cubic foot (what's that in meters?) trash bin. There are auto junkyards near here that drip chemicals that find their way into our drinking water. And we're in a "wealthy" county. Oh, yes. Waste. But, as someone once said, it's a political decision and too many people in the USA seem to find their big-screen TVs, beer, nachos, and pro sports more important than...just about anything. There are many who are passionate about the environment, but their voices are stifled by the right-wing press. IMHO.

I know that some few of the original (perhaps second wave) authors are still writing, mostly in another universe/reality, and am following those stories when I can.     Good time of day, and thank you for a comprehensive review...that didn't give too much away. Hope you like the rest, as much...and the third line that will appear, soon. A warning: Book 1 was written after Book 2 and Book 3 was developed in parallel with both. There will be anachronisms that are being resolved in a 200k-word manuscript, in development. I don't think the anachronisms and similar lapses of continuity will cause problems for readers of Bks 2 and 3, but please keep that in mind.
