  1. I have not been reading many stories on Nifty lately as I have been busy working on my own new project. But, I have found an excellent story which I strongly recommend. http://www.selfpics.org/nifty/gay/historical/toby It is set in the 1930's and the author does a superb job of capturing the spirit and feel of the era as well as the feelings, thoughts, and fears of young boys. In fact, I think it might qualify for the archive.
  2. Hi! I have two stories that I would like included in the archive if possible. They are the two that my readers seemed to like the most and I am rather proud of them, though I think they still need some work. They are both t/t stories with moderate sex. The first is A Canterbury Tale, which is a series of stories about gay teens in a northern college town during the mid-seventies. http://www.nifty.org/nifty/gay/adult-youth/a-cantebury-tale/ The second is The Moon in Your Eyes, a romance about two introverted teenagers who are faced with rejection by their families and peers and triumph over their adversities. http://hotrod.nifty.org/nifty/gay/highscho...n-in-your-eyes/ I would be interested in constructive criticism and suggestions as to how I might improve them! Thanks
  3. Who's playing Alexander? After her incredible characterization, it had better be someone good. His integrity and the romance of his principles and courage will be difficult for someone who doesn't understand the character. I hope they don't get just a pretty face like Brad Pitt or, Apollo Forbid, (hehe), Tom Cruise!
  4. I would like to add a couple of my stories to the Archive here and was wondering how I could do that, A Canterbury Tale and Moon In Your Eyes. What is the procedure/ Thanks!
  5. The first book I ever read with a gay character was when I was 13, the political novel Advice and Consent, written in 1959 in which a closeted gay Senator who had a "moment" in the Army during the War is blackmailed and commits suicide, not the most encouraging thing for a gay teenager to read right off the bat! Next, when I was fourteen, I read Fire From Heaven, by Mary Renault about the young Alexander the Great and his love for Hephaistion. This was followed two years later by the sequel, The Persian Boy.
