3.1.11 - 2. Poem, 3.3.11

3.3.11

It doesn’t change anything

I am still right here

Even if I left tomorrow

I would end up here today

It is not so bad most would say

It doesn’t matter after all

Don’t let it get to you

This is not romantic

This is satanic

Well I exasperate

I exaggerate

I exacerbate

Excoriate - denounce

Excruciate - torment

Execrate - detest

Bitter or sullen

Does this make me feel better

A good long walk helps

Dinner with normal helps

Yellow bells and daffodils

Help

Movement helps

Funny, I smile more now

An after effect of

Only details I imagined

Why tear up over details

You exist out there somewhere

I exist in here somewhere

Mutual acknowledged existence

Love among the ruins*

Of one reminded of promises past

Not too polite to be too exact

If I yell there might be an avalanche

Of emotive motion

Jagged boulder bouncing

Muddy phrasing word slide

Collapsing heart sink hole

At least I am not breaking

Out in song

Performance therapy

See me be happy

I love the background of these poems!

The frustration was clear, the scream after something lost was powerful. I can't believe it took me to get to this age to learn to read poetry! I enjoyed this one too so much.

I loved your use of assonance. The synonyms of the ex- words seemed out of place, which actually works well enough with the feel of the poem, I'm just hoping you didn't put them there because you didn't think your readers would otherwise understand. : P

This was very personal to me, a lot of the content fit who I am.
