3.5.11

By bugeye

Sometimes life is in your face

Up so close it closes out everything

Other times you are so distant

It all seems like the stars in the dark blue

And the journey between the two

Is either slow and painful

Or fast and painful

Joy and gladness imitate pain

And pain is often joy and gladness

Or so it seems

Life is

Here I am and what the hell

A seed that grows

A rambling road

A gamboling youth

A gambling man

A cardboard box

A pigeonhole

A hunk of meat

So maybe that is why

Your kind words

And your hot eyes

And your wet tongue

And your crazy smile

And your soft cries

And your rough touch

And your slow thrust

And your…

Don’t stop now

Don’t leave now

Mean so much
