Shattered Moon, Broken Rose - 1. Shattered Moon, Broken Rose

Title: Scattered Moon, Broken Rose
Word count: 119
AN: I…completely blame Lugh for this. They asked if I was going to add to this anthology and I can’t say no to them. *nodnod*

Shattered moon dancing upon the land below

A broken rose glistening under scattered light.

Blades glinting and gleaming

Eyes lilting and dim

As they gaze upon a shattered moon.

Long fingers dance and touch

Glistening red falling upon cracked petals.

Breath curled and lips smiled

As the darkness opened and welcomed

A soul that lost her way once upon a time.

She wondered as she stared at the shattered moon

Just what would happen next.

Fingers slid over broken petals

Of a rose long lost,

Of a rose long forgotten.

Shattered moon dancing upon the land below,

A broke rose, glistening under scattered light.

Blades glinting and gleaming

Eyes lilting and dim

As they gaze upon her very soul.
