What you didn’t say after the amusement park
It threw you up and down, you screamed up there
And came down laughing
Laughing, you said, because you never were
Thrust so high except in the drag of
Safe elevators up dreary offices and
Drearier apartment blocks
Screaming, I infer, because you were so foreign with your wings
That you forgot flight
