Poetry Play - 1. An Acrostic Inquiry
Carringtonrj tossed out the idea of us writing something together. I suggested a poem. We bantered back and forth, each of us writing a sequential line. A week later, we have this to share. Enjoy!
Intelligent, quirky, isolated
Nestled in a nook of his self
Never seen, silent but for song
Ecstatic fury is her means of delivery
River swell, his dammed self breached
Guess which way he sways
Improvising, she plays
Red lips and fiery intentions are her
Luxe lures
Sensuous siren, she invites danger
Enticing, entreating a spectrum of suitors
Eases into the shimmering shape
Kinked hip with an impish moue
Sex: indiscriminate
Quivers at the cusp
Undiscover her secrets paradoxically
Evolutionary desire that is privately pleasing
Ecstasy is always in the blood and the soul
Revert, rethink, remake, reply, reveal
Forever she folds herself within him
Romanced always only by words and music and art
Illustrious, imagined, inconceivable
Ethereal world of beneficent humanity
Nothing is better than this
Dapper dudes and dandy dames
Sensuality in words
Hearts held close
In between all genders is love
Peering past imperfections and signaling interestedness
Carrington, you friendship enriches my life in so many ways. Thanks for prompting me to such a fun and interesting activity.
