My review from Kindle:

I really liked this introduction to Donovan, I think he’ll easily become my favourite character in the series. He’s quick witted, resourceful and caring. The sarcasm is an added bonus. Seeing the world go to hell in glorious chaos , created by comicality is just awesome. Certainly worth the read. Plenty of suspense, a side bit of brooding and romance, and plenty of horror.
