In the place between sun and moon where the lightning flash strikes, a mass of energy quickened by thermonuclear activity wallowed in the seething soup of elemental evolution. Atoms combined and recombined infusing Its being with strength. Rumbling spasms transmogrified features blistered by solar energy. Then, enveloped in cosmic dust, he painfully choked out his first breath.

Unabashed by his nakedness and yet unnamed, he lay in the mire of his birth. Self awareness came slowly as his form adjusted to its environment and when the time was right he rose from the mire to stand balanced on two appendages.

Perfectly suited to the land he was in, but unadjusted to the form he wore, he stumbled and fell. Rocks tore at his flesh and his life fluid trickled upon them. Amazed at this, he watched until it seeped into the ground. Then with some many tries he stood again and took his first uneven steps across the barrenness in which he was born.

Moon chased sun above his head changing darkness to light and back again. He moved now with the fluid grace of one experienced with their form, loping across the landscape at a steady pace. He slept when he was tired, and moved on when he woke. Onward he went with out a look back, but behind him the land had transformed. Grass grew in his footsteps and creatures from his blood drops. Where he lay water rose from the ground. His footsteps shook the land and hills rose in his wake.

Six-thousand years he roamed, six times he slept; for another thousand years he sat and watched to see if all was good, then he slept again. Upon waking he walked the land again and saw what had become since his last passing. What was this place? he asked himself, What had it become? Displeased, he turned from the beings and looked again to the place between sun and moon where the lightning flash strikes. He called from within himself energy of the masses. Quickened with thermonuclear activity, atoms combined and recombined choking off his last breath with cosmic dust.
