Tyler and Reese - 9. Chapter 9

'By Cthulhu and all the other Old Ones, this guy is beautiful. I don't know.. maybe it's his smile, how he looks at me. He is built of course but I've seen enough jocks. This is.. more. Almost like he wants to be with me. I sure want to be with him. I can't see many people on campus having time for me so a roomie who understands.. that would be awesome.'

Reese kept turning pages and automatically memorized the words in front of his eyes but he didn't really pay attention.

'Not even a run, hmppphh.' Somehow, Reese softened, not even knowing why. 'I guess he doesn't know Tron, or Zelda. Inconceivable really but just as inconceivable as someone not playing sports, I guess. I bet he can't even program worth a damn. Didn't get my joke either. Or maybe he's one of those who don't read their set books beforehand. If he didn't, the concept would be unknown to him.'

He looked up to find Tyler looked at him, a wistful smile on his chiseled face. Reese quickly looked down again, pretending to read and blushing yet again. He returned to watching the jockboy on the sly, through his eye lashes. A couple of minutes went by as he studied the muscles move under Tyler's skin as Tyler unpacked suitcases and boxes and slowly brought his private room to order. Reese cringed at the inefficient way Tyler stowed his books away but managed to hold on and heroically didn't say anything.

He desperately wanted to take of his shirt in this blasted heat but felt ashamed in front of the Greek god. 'Ptagh! Pathetic.' He yanked the shirt off and crunched it up to wipe some sweat of his face and neck. Better...

'Nice posters..'

"Hey Tyler!"

"Yea?"

"Want to play HALO later?" He grinned enthusiastically. "Male bonding, likesay?" He raised his eyebrows in a hopefully welcoming smile. Tyler came out of his room and sat down on the coffee table, which groaned in protest. Reese automatically zoomed in on the bulging package between the spread out legs and felt his cock swell a bit. His head snapped up as he heard Tyler talking.

"What's tha?"

"Uh, a game. You play it on the computer, with consoles. It's a first person shooter for the Xbox. I got only the one console but we can still share."

"Yeah sure!"

Reese felt emboldened and surged right ahead. A tiny part of his frontal cortex shouted warnings but was ignored. "I hope we can become friends and.. well, like that. Do you have plans for the evening? I thought to explore campus and see where everything is but I guess we could go out for a (tiny quick frown) beer too. I mean, if you want that.. Or we could stay here and swap stories, or watch something although it's pretty smegging hot so maybe we better go outside.... "
