Ryan always loved the heroes with powers who fought crime and saved the world in his comic books.  Then after a series of events, he discovers that he has become part of a new breed of soldiers with superhuman powers that come from the ability to manipulate the very structure of light.  They fight against beings from another world called the Colossus and protect humanity against their destructive nature.  Between rising to the legacy of his deceased brother to falling for a brooding man from a rival political family, Ryan begins to discover who he is and what the world truly needs...a Champion.
