Joe's a connaisseur, drinking Belgian beer.

I wonder if he drinks the light or the dark beer. Better not have Mike over here, thinking he won't get drunk on beer will get him in trouble here. Two beers is enough, drinking three and you aren't allowed to drive anymore.

BTW I'm still confused about the Alex/ Chris - connection. It can't be an alter ego because then Toby wouldn't have seen him in his dreams now could he?

Anyway; we'll just have to wait for the next post

Hugs,

Toby and Chris do suffer from the same condition, whatever it is, so there's no ruling anything out.

Good chapter!

I like your comments at the beginning of each chapter, so this [This space intentionally left blank] made me laugh.

Heh. It's an old, old computer joke, but I like it. I probably should've mentioned the beer was Belgian, but it was spur of the moment. I'll have to patch that up in the rewrite.

At the moment Chris is more than a little worried about what Toby might be dreaming. Which, given what he's been dreaming, is warranted. (Not going there, thanks, but that doesn't mean the characters know that, which should give me all sorts of opportunities to embarrass them...)

Alex and Chris' connection'll get clarified to some extent through the rest of the story. I think I've decided how the rest of the story's going to go, and that it's even Joe's fault (kinda, sorta, involuntarily) that he's getting Menaced. Some of the details are still up in the air, and I fully expect the story'll end up taking a twist or two I didn't expect, but that's fine. It's been, and continues to be, fun. I think I'm even gonna enjoy the rewrite.

I like revising and rewriting much better than the original writing where I don't know what 'm doing.
