The Los Angeles Times, for instance, has a story headlined '7 clues that 'Potter's' Dumbledore was gay.

Eh, I didn't like that at all. It was all hindsight.

 

You could have done that with ANY of the characters.

 

(AKA, Harry's obsession with Malfoy in book 6. THAT's pretty darn suspicious if you ask me.)

 

People are making way to big a deal out of this.

Well none of these things seem like much more then sterotypes to me. But I must admit the I predicted that Dumbledore was gay while reading the last book. It just made sense for some reason

I don't like it too much. They are trying to stereotyping, as Adrian said.

 

As for the dress codes for Dumbly, every wizard and witch wear robes!! And just becasue he has a 'flaming' phoenix? Duh!

I agree with the consensus. Interesting read, but ultimately irrelevant since, as Adrian pointed out, this could have been done for any of the characters.
