I saw it in 3D and loved it - especially the super hairy actor playing the lead role!

God I know. He's a hottie. He can take me for a ride in that wheel chair any day.

Avatar was... an overrated piece of crap! I fell asleep in the first ten minutes!

Due to some semi-hazardous substances, my brain wasn't of a completely even keel when I saw it, if you get my drift. But I did notice that the visuals were amazing and it's got great material for a franchise. Sigourney Weaver is kiss ass! The story, however, is so cliched that it could make the Titanic sink (wait... it did...), and the whole theatre laughed when the two aliens started making out. But then the theatre was in Boston, and Bostonians are rude.

 

Avatar is a great movie but not an amazing film. But there's nothing wrong with that.

Not the usual type of movie i'd rate10, but thinking maybe an exception is in tow.

Finally went to see this and thought it was very good. The 3D was incredible, and the story was cute if predictable.

I saw it in IMAX 3-D. I agree with most of the above comments.

 

Also, there were great previews of coming IMAX 3-D features, such as the one about fixing Hubble.
