  1. This is a very nicely written story of love, regardless of the age difference. Differences that other couples face are often far less manageable than an age difference. My current situation is that I'll turn 64 this year, divorced several years (from a woman), with 2 children and 5 grandchildren... oldest grand turned 24 earlier this year. A few times now, a much too young man seems to be trying to get my attention. While he made me feel the age difference, when he said he would turn 26 in several weeks and wanted to know what I was doing at that age, he also said he wanted to take a weekend trip to a city that's a couple hundred miles away, but had nobody to go with him... he left that statement wide open, but I didn't respond. The next time I saw him, as I was about to go somewhere,he raised his oversized t-shirt to wipe his face that wasn't at all sweaty... yeah. Now, I like a flat stomach better than abs, and he had the flatness going on. I'm retired, and he's barely started in a career that doesn't pay well, but he enjoys. Personally, I hope he just flirts, because he enjoys seeing at least some admiration from people. I just can't imagine anything otherwise being real. I very much enjoyed reading this story, though.
