    I'm reading this on 22Sep26, more than 14 years later - and I'm captivated even though all the pictures have vanished. I see emojis where they would have been but their links have broken. If someone could fix that I'm sure all your future readers would be most appreciative. I certainly would be. BTW, where's the other new midshipman gone? Is he lost in the bilges with Rover?
