Yes it is....and the author, the venerable goat, has apologized.....and the chapter is finished and making it's way through the review process before posting. It just takes some time. This particular chapter, like several recent chapters has suffered from the nearness to the absolute conclusion of the story so that it's been more sluggish in release. I think it's fair for us to chat with each other and tell each other how difficult waiting is without feeling like we are hurting anyone's feelings by doing so. CJ knows we look forward with anticipation to each new chapter.

LOL.....unusually shaped hill.....I like that!!.....don't try to read the story up there, you'll be accused of having cliff notes!....there's some discussion about the use of those...there might be some dishonesty involved.

Does it make you a little nervous that there is no sequel to circumnavigation because maybe everyone doesn't live, making a sequel a bit awkward at the least? I refreshed my memory of "For the Love". That is also a GREAT story. So those of you who haven't read it, should read it. Very endearing characters there as well, ....not to mention the twists and turns. It's like driving around "cliffs". While speaking of that, in that story the two main characters were in 'Veronica's' workplace early in the story and the other waitress suggested that they could make alot of money modeling. I just thought that is one nugget that could be followed in the sequel!! And finally, a thought has played around in my head about the title of the next chapter, "Hellbound". To me, that's a good omen for our motley group of luckless heroes. It's clear who IS going to hell and who ISN'T. Enjoy the trip, Bridgette, you DESERVE IT!!!

Well.....this is something we obviously are just going to have to do because the month of December 2012 is just groaning from the strain of an even longer extension..... ......so, I admit......I'm free of cliffhangers. I didn't see Cliff and I didn't see any hangers....and who could possibly expect a goat to hang around cliffs....and I did see the chapter entitled "Doomsday".....so I've said all the things you said we should say. I don't think it's Trevor whose heart isn't beating. I think it's Joel. Joel was at the helm when the lightning struck the mast and the electrical charge went into "flesh" I think the text said. I believe it's Joel and Shane is going to have to do CPR and in the epilogue he's going to tell Trevor that Joel "kisses" better.

Ha, I had part of this figured out. What an amazing chapter, and the cliffhanger that caught no one by surprise, the mother of all cliffhangers! 17k+ words......that's alot of chapter. You are amazing CJ. Thank you. Now.....just to wait 2 weeks until the next one and the epilogue. Hope I've got some of this figured out.....????"

What an amazing journey. 3 years and well over a hundred chapters and the extension of December to lengths no month should ever be forced to endure! And now, at long last we are within the last 50 days of waiting. That is an exceptional amount of work for one goat to take upon hims-hoof. I really do understand that this is alot of work even though I've never accomplished this particular feat myself. So, thank you with deepest sentiment for the efforts you have exhausted! I look forward to reading what I have no doubt is an exceptional next chapter and the upcoming releases of concluding segments!!!

Wonderful.....the suspense is building, the mystery of how this will all turn out is beyond unwinding. We are just going to have to wait and see....and that's a good kinda hard thing to do! I still think the good guys will win, and sincerely hope that all of our favorites are still around when the last ONE falls..... and to Bridget, may your hell be a whole new level of suffering!!!

Hello......any ideas when "Doomsday" will be posted??? i knew it wouldn't be Tuesday but I got the impression it wouldn't necessarily go out on a frequently repeated schedule thus maybe not have to wait until next Tuesday.....maybe it comes out as soon as it's gone through all the hoops....???

Additionally, with a hurrican inbound, the military will sail the ships out of Gitmo....putting them in motion on the seas......Bridget won't know exactly where they are, but her plan to flee southwest and then south may very well put her on a collision course. I know she's wily and in small boats, etc.....but she's also been rather lucky......AND those weather reports are not completely accurate....the storm is bigger/stronger than thought........"this time there will be no escape"

Semantics!!! It didn't say WHO wouldn't escape.....and, as always.....we weren't told everything. We don't know what Gonzalez is doing, we don't know what Frank is doing, and we don't know where Kookaburra and Rachel are.....so anything can happen. Additionally, there's 2 boats behind, 6 boats ahead and all the rest are going in to take the resort....which means they will be out of the fight if the hurricane arrives....it's all about timing......Bridget has a window of opportunity, maybe it is she who will not escape this time. If the hurricane lands, they will not need to "escape" her, she will lose her advantage and then many other things come into play. It's when Trevor doesn't escape that he manages to blunder into the most fortunate of opportunities!

Let's review.....last time Trevor was left for dead.....or we were led to think he was going to die, he found a way to screw up the villains boat......well, this time it's 70 boats?? That's a lot of vandalism!!

wait a minute!!! cliffs in Florida. Weren't they in Florida?? There are no cliffs in Florida......so say the goat!.....and then he put one in his story, it's a dasterdly deed of devilish duality......

It's fiction, Skalla....but the police do some incredibly stupid things, usually because some agenda they have doesn't fit with what their focus should be! I live in a large city and at least once per year news of police brutality comes to light and there's also far to often evidence of wrongful imprisonment in this state or stories of people imprisoned for many years who are found to have been wrongfully imprisoned and their cases are reviewed for potential release. The potential good news for them is that when you are imprisoned wrongfully in the states you earn monetary award for the time you are incarcerated which can reach impressive value. As for the story, I liked this chapter!! Some twists and turns and movement toward the conclusion....and then that thing at the end that you have to wait on the next chapter for....The probably have those in Gitmo...though they may be difficult to find in Florida. We should just rename them sink holes.

Brigitte will find a way to outfox herself. That is how this story will finally be brought to its conclusion. Joel and Lisa will be clueless all the way through, Shane will do something stupid, and Trevor will do something smart......and the cavalry will arrive, minutes after everything is already over.....and CJ will leave a cliffhanger on the end of the epilogue. some things just never change! ....and I am not a newbie....sometimes I pm, sometimes I posted on the site, etc.....I find all kinds of places to post, then I forget how I got there.

Welcome back CJ! It's clear now that you are caught up with your msgs because you are responding again to the reviews in real time. This story has more curves than a (mental image)....the binoculars was a huge build-up....I thought it might be "friendlies". Anyway, another great chapter crawling toward an amazing spin and swirl conclusion I am sure. Keep up the great work.....I've got no complaints......I like it!

Yes, yes.....another exciting chapter!! Another cliffhanger that makes me think I'm an idiot!......well, a hanger, no cliff.....goats don't do cliffs, right? Wait, that sounds wrong....maybe goats don't do hangers and live on cliffs.....which is where the guy is with the binoculars.....so maybe the goat could tiptoe over and knock him off....are lift him up and suspend him on the hangar!!....since people watching other people in this story are never good people, they always have bad things in mind! Why is it that the bad guys in this story always communicate and everybody always knows what page everyone else is on and the good guys keep secrets from each other and never help each other?? I mean, if Gonzalez, and Trevors friends and parents, etc would all level with each other they'd be so far ahead of that witch! This is an exercise in organizational futility. Now....at this point it should be clear that I'm just going to have to wait until the next chapter to have a clue what will happen next....otherwise I wouldn't have spent the entire paragraph above distracting you from seeing that I don't have a clue what you know who is going to do with this story next! Nice hat, goat.
