    Chapter 2

Thank you for sharing your experience with your step-father. Watching dementia take over a parent's mind is difficult and emotionally draining. Towards the end, my mother didn't know any of us...it was like losing her twice.
  2. We arrived home minus one of our sons, having left David at school in Utah. During our trip home, I kept looking for him, only to remind myself he was at college. I missed him so much! There was dining area with a half a dozen square café tables set on a concrete floor at the
  7. Rick and Glenn take their family on a road trip to visit Glenn's family in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. During their visit, Glenn and Rick enjoy their time with family; but a dark shadow hangs over their visit as they discover the truth of the warnings Glenn's brother gave them regarding their mother's health.
  8. I'm in the middle between the two extremes! I love the excitement of publishing a chapter as soon as it's written, receiving immediate feedback from my readers. Other times, I get great satisfaction in completing a story, editing it, and rewriting it until it has become a perfect gem. So, I guess, you could say it depends on the story and the mood I'm in.
