    Thank you for sharing your experience with your step-father. Watching dementia take over a parent's mind is difficult and emotionally draining. Towards the end, my mother didn't know any of us...it was like losing her twice.

    Yes, these are the same characters from The Man From Swift Current. I'm in the process of reworking that story and its sequel = The Lernier Family.

    I'm in the middle between the two extremes! I love the excitement of publishing a chapter as soon as it's written, receiving immediate feedback from my readers. Other times, I get great satisfaction in completing a story, editing it, and rewriting it until it has become a perfect gem. So, I guess, you could say it depends on the story and the mood I'm in.
