Never watched the movie. Was thinking of the book. Differences, but I drew parallels. Ryan is afraid of flying. He flew out to a carrier first. Andrew is perhaps a little more afraid of flying Original officer supposed to fly out to Red October, but crashed. At least the AW101 deposited her precious cargo. October's a SSBN, still a sub. Acheron's a SSN. sub too.

Love it so far, and glad to see a continuation of the Carter series. This chapter caught me visualizing Red October and Jack Ryan for a moment - fear-fraught helicopter ride, intelligence officer, sub. Looking forward to next chapter! Thank you @Topher Lydon!

Nah, Xavier and co can go meet Aster (I hope, since Kyle's main story did mention of something along those lines?), really looking forward to that crossover, if not more! Its nice to see things moving in the direction where the 3 separate storylines show some intersect - Hontel, Kandric, Scorpion Falls, and such. 🥰 whines at @Roland "are we there yet? are we there yet?" 😅
