The first weeks of winter break past smoothly. Connor heard nothing from either Sophie or Justin—both of them at least had his e-mail, and he checked it every other day. Connor’s family lived about a two-hour drive away, closer to the mountains. He arrived to visit his family a few days before Christmas, and spent through the New Year with them. “We’ll have a small acting troupe visiting our school and performing some short plays for us…” The English teacher began the last half of class. Cole yawned and shifted in his seat, resting his face on his right palm, arm propped up on the table with his eyes heavy. It was so hard to stay awake! He really did try—he hated sleeping class, knowing it was rude, and then feeling stupid later when having to ask about something explained in class, but… he tried to force his green eyes open wider.

Link to story here. School Counselor Connor Lewis groups up with two out gay/lesbian students. They work together to try and make the school more accepting of homosexuals. Over the years of working closely with the students, relationships are formed for after high school. Note: Nothing happens involving minor x adult, or current student x counselor (starts after graduation). Story takes times over years, starts slow romantically. Each year is broken down into two school semesters, and takes place mostly at school. Chapter one currently posted.

The whole day was spent inside the cramped office of the church, going over the Old Testament. Justin was fidgety and hot the entire time. Wasn’t air conditioning around yet? hm yeah maybe one or two lyrics in a chapter are fine. I mean the birthday ones weren't too important and you could have just gone "and we all started playing this by that band", but that piece Patrick played was important to see the lyrics to I think.
