  1. I'd have to say, for not being a really huge Star Wars fan (I've only seen the "first" 3 like twice at best each [and by "first" i of course mean eps 4, 5, and 6]) that I find these dudes to be really good with the fights in my opinion. I especially like the HD ones .

    Chapter 2

Brendon Snyder stared off into distance through a window, watching the sun try and peek over the horizon. He glanced back towards the room where Carson slept, hoping that their hasty sun protection was enough for the teen. He could somehow sense his brother parading on the outside of the house they all found, checking things out there for any leaks of light. He cast his gaze towards where Boston and Drew also rested and saw no problems there. Brendon gasped a bit as a flash of pain crossed over

    Chapter 1

It seemed quiet. Too quiet. The evening, with that quiet stretching on nearly infinitely, drove Brandon stir-crazy. Sure it was nice to have a nice, relaxing day where none of the family fell to the chase of authorities or even the slag hunters that seemed to permeate the area like an exploding rabbit population. Almost a week of hiding out in an abandoned warehouse in the small town when he was used to roaming the countryside rather freely seemed a harsh sentence in comparison. He paced back a

    Epilogue

The reason I had it ended the way I did is because while I wanted to have a nice and tidy ending (who doesn't?) I didn't feel that the characters lent to that in a sense. But if you look closely at a few things in the story, there is a definite way Jeremy decided. I think it's subtle, but it's there. And I also left it like this as a possibility to do a sequel, in if I do, I'll definitely make sure to answer the question one way or the other. I hope this helped a bit

    Epilogue

Epilogue “So… you’re finally the same age as me. How does it feel?” “Shane…” I couldn’t help but blush a little. Even with not being about to see him for about a month, he still managed to make me fell giddy inside. I was surprised that Chris had arranged for him and his brother Ian to fly out for my party. Aaron nearly lost it when Ian walked through the door and I did too when I saw Shane. My best friend punched my shoulder. “Stop acting so gay for like a second… please!” He laughed

    Against the Clock

Chapter 10 – Against the Clock Lunch time rolled around and I was in a near panic. Jeremy never showed up. I have never known him to purposefully cut classes – his grades are too good for that. I think his character would forbid him from even thinking of ditching. Unless… unless he’s too torn to even be near me. Maybe he went to the office and, in a guilt-ridden move, decided that he needed to change his classes around. To ones that didn’t include me. But… even if he somehow resists his
  9. Chris is their legal guardian now that Mom's gone (see Chapter 8 ). They still have their father, but he's MIA ever since he learned of their move.
  10. Chapter 9 – Bridging the Divide I couldn’t help but stare at him from across the room. His light brown hair seemed to be in need of a trim, the back trying to reach his shoulders but still had a ways to go. The dry air in the school made it frizz out a bit but I didn’t care. The boy could be bald or have horns instead of that velvety cloth upon his head – he would always be beautiful for me. Jeremy and I have kept a respectable distance from one another, but the further we entrenched o

    Clean Slates

Chapter 8 – Clean Slates I stirred slowly. It felt like wet cement had flooded my brain initially, but it seemed to drain away, clearing my thoughts. A heart monitor beeped to my right and it all started to come back to me. The fights at school. The fight with Mom. Chris coming to our rescue. Mom… M-Mom being swallowed by the house. All the painful and evil things she did and said before it finally happened. I must have passed out on the way to the hospital. “Chris! I-I think Theo is w

    Fury Unleashed

Chapter 7 – Fury Unleashed I awoke and saw Aaron wasn’t in my bed anymore and my room door was wide open once again. I rubbed eyes, desperately trying to wake up. I glanced at my phone and saw that my alarm wasn’t to go off for another five minutes. Maybe knowing Aaron was sleeping with me and had left stirred me. Damn brotherly protective instincts. I tiredly grabbed some clothes from my closet and dresser and headed towards the bathroom. “Morning Theo,” Aaron said rather brightly

    T.K. & M.K.

Chapter 6 – T. K. & M. K. Dinner was tense. Very tense. Mom seemed wound up so tight as of late. That tickling I felt minutes ago seemed to grow stronger. Usually our dinners are relaxed and carefree as she asks about our day and we regale her with tales of bullies or mean teachers; mountains of homework alongside miles of tests; horrible school lunches that are barely edible by even dog standards; or on those rare days… Nothing. This dinner – if I could even call it that – had no

    Seekers of Truth

I did try to cut as much of it out as I could, but maybe some more "pruning" is in order. Hopefully as I finish editing the rest of the story, there will only be a few more instances of the dashes thing. As I said, overuse of that is a bad habit of mine heh.

    Seekers of Truth

Chapter 5 – Seekers of Truth My alarm woke me from a strange dream involving Jeremy and the author of diary I started to read last night. As it faded, the only bits I could retain were of a horrifying scene with Jeremy in tears as he clutched his chest, blood oozing from between his fingers. The alarm sounded just as I watched the last breath fade from his body. Suffice it to say, my face was very wet that morning. Aaron knew something was up the moment I sat down at the table. The li

    Found and Lost

Chapter 4 – Found and Lost Jeremy stayed sullen the rest of the day. Even with Aaron around, his usually exuberant mood didn’t even faze Jeremy. Couldn’t perk him up. Aaron could sense it too and asked me if I knew what was wrong. I said I didn’t but I did try. My brother whispered to me that he hoped that Jeremy would be happier the next day. Aaron was up in his room, working on some homework along with work that was needed to catch him up between what we missed while we packed and w

  18. Thanks . It's good to hear you've enjoyed everything so far. BTW, the whole chopping kids up thing was a rumor. Or was it? >
  19. Chapter 3 – Mysterious Happenstance I awoke the next morning to violent shaking. I heard someone saying something, but in my near-comatose state, I couldn’t make them out. Still I shook, almost desperately so as reality started to creep back into my brain. “Theodore! Wake up!” Aaron whined, his voice finally cutting through the din. “M-Mom’s missing! She’s not here!” Shit. I knew I forgot to tell him something last night. I rolled over and stared at him through sleepy eyes and I saw a

    Past Connections

Chapter 2 – Past Connections “We are now descending to the runway at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport. Please make sure all trays are stowed in their upright and locked positions as well as your seat belts are securely fastened. The current temperature in the area is a chilly thirty-three degrees and there is snow forecasted for the early nighttime hours into tomorrow. The local time is now seven thirty. Thank you for flying with us once again and have a safe trip.” I awoke

    Fond Farewells

Chapter 1 – Fond Farewells I still couldn’t believe it. “Chris,” I groaned again. “This isn’t fair! Why can’t you talk her out of it?! If she’d listen to anyone, it’d be you!” “Theo, this isn’t my call to make. It’s hers. Now, two things can happen here. Either you can whine like the little girl you’re pretending to be, bitch and moan until you give birth to triplets, and it still wouldn’t help you with the fact that, yes, you guys are moving. Or…” “Or?” I asked, knowing full well wh

    Prologue

Prologue The young man didn’t have much time. He ran in an awkward shuffle, frequently glancing over his left shoulder as he scurried through the wooded glade. His heart raced, sweat covered his forehead and pinned his blond bangs to his forehead. The lad wasn’t quite sure how far behind they were, but he knew they were there. They were always there. This time, they were ready for him. Ready and waiting. The sturdy oaks thinned and the small cottage slowly slipped into view. The cabin

    Parallels

Starting over is never easy. For young Theo, he finds this to be the case, especially when he moves into the "crazy man's house". But upon discovering an old diary, Theo finds his life almost parallels the author's. But will Theo's ending be better... or worse than the author's?
