Here am I talking about what I usually do to avoid colds and flu and it's winter down here and I've been laid low for almost 2 weeks, stopped taking my vitamin c, back on it again taking cough medications chicken soup...hate winter...love spring and autumn (Fall)

Whenever I feel a cold coming on I hit the Vitamin c bottle immediately 1000mg 3 times a day...always works..hope you feel better soon Dom.

Dom, Ignore the jealous F**WITS you're writing is the most interesting and enjoyable I can remember in years...so much so that the other day I had some spare time in the city and went to an internet cafe and logged on and was rewarded with the epilogue of itfb and chapter 12 of WT. I was late for lunch with a friend who I adore and unfortunately couldn't tell him why because he would think I'm even weirder than he thinks I am now. Thanks Dom you're the GREATEST.

Dom, Forget about the FU/flamer mailers, thanks for your stories once again and personally I don't care where they are posted. As far as living Down Under in OZ, today almost the start of our summer is freezing with snow falling on the mountains near Sydney....so much for the world becoming warmer.

Hi Dom, I have 2 parrots, a Major Mitchell named Wally and a short billed Corella called Bruce. I have had them for 18 years and they run my life. If I have someone over for dinner or whatever, they scream until they are included in the conversation and have to be at the dinner table. They eat rice and fruit and vegies and at breakfast time when I cook toast they both scream until they have a piece themselves. I note one of the books on parrots that Major Mitchells are described as birds which are not suitable for avaries because of their raucous voices and guess what I believe them. The Corella also poops in his water and demands I change it all the time. But I wouldn't change them for the world. ppete
