@Celethiel: you think seven years is too short a time? Interesting. In the world of technology, that's like waiting years from a brick of a cell phone to an iPhone 5. Personally, I think it's time for a new console. And as a bit of a Sony fangirl myself, I am happy with the announcement they made on the 20th of Feb. You also have to remember that it's not coming out until later this year, which is practically 2014 already. And we haven't even been fully immersed into what the console is capable of doing. Considering how hush-hush they were about it, not even showing the console itself, I can expect to see much more at E3 this year. I will reserve my judgment until then. But, at this point, they can count me on the list of folks who will be purchasing the PS4 when it is released.
