I always remember this image from a video camera of him in formal clothing carrying his Smith and Wesson pistol.

How can it be that long ago? Surely not! ( and don't call me Shirley)

Can the DG just shoot Gagnon? Under the Emergencies Act etc, etc? Vile traitors should be dispatched forthwith.
-
Will is kind of playing with fire here. What if there are members of the order in the conservative party and they get a cabinet seat? Then we have traitors in the heart of government. We already know of some that haven't been spotted yet (Gagnon) and we know the vetting process is compromised by him. I'm sure the DG now has an inkling, but it might be too late for him to take action.
-
Does Will actually know he's drugged, or simply thinks he has a stick up his ass?

As long as it's not a long walk in the snow😯 (Canadian political reference)

The sprogs seem good at being interpreters, hopefully they can get the message between Andrew and Will so they can come to come to a common understanding.

That's over, thanksgiving was in October.

Well, that's a lot nicer than the first comment that sprang into my head...

I suspect that many of the so called leaders operate in a moral vacuum.

Will is being rather naive about the threats he is facing personally, as well as what Canada is facing. Andrew was nearly killed in the car chase, Brad was sent after West, Peter and Matt (and Ned, but they don't know it yet) have been kidnapped and the children are only safe because of the security detail change that Andrew insisted upon. What does Will intend to combat these threats with? A memo? He needs to remember the maxim that people sleep peacefully in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf. He needs to quit interfering with CSIS operations and let them do their job - plus give himself plausible deniability.

Yup, they all drank the metaphorical Kool-Aid.

Good on West, hopefully he can keep Andrew in check and be suspicious about the pills he;s been forced to take. I just know this is going to boomerang back on Will in a not nice way.

Obviously there is a radar track of those flights, I would be willing to bet that one of the Yani/Andrew/West trio would be able to track the flights once they figure out where Peter and Matt went. Someone of that invasion team had a cell phone I bet, and those can be tracked to the airport. Then it's a matter of looking at what flights went where.

Propane gels around -35, so it can't be used a fuel source in cold climates ( as this apparently is). I've run into that issue even in the summer if the demand is reasonably high and continuous. In order to be used, the propane needs to boil inside the bottle and that takes heat. The bottle had a thick layer of ice on the outside and the propane inside froze, even though it was sitting in the sun and it was 25°C outside.

The nerd in me wonders where the electricity is coming from? That part of BC is quite remote, they are a long way from anywhere that would have a power line. That far north in winter the days are very short too, not long enough to have any meaningful solar energy to gather.

About a decade ago I had the opportunity to go to the British Airways Flight Training centre at Heathrow and myself and 3 others had the opportunity to spend 4 hours in their 747 simulator with a BA captain teaching us how to fly. It's the same simulator they use to train their pilots and amazingly realistic. We rotated around, but in total we each spent an hour at the controls. It's intense, we were all soaked in sweat when we came out. However, I think I could now land a 747 if I had to, and be quite smooth at it. I'm sure with some instruction, Peter could land a plane. British Airways doesn't allow the general public simulator access anymore, so I'm glad I did it when I had the opportunity. It wasn't cheap, but well worth it. Here is a video of what it's like, this wasn't me flying:

Hmm, "interesting", doesn't bode well. Can Matt or Peter fly an airplane?

That was a heavy chapter, but it seems like the tide is starting to turn. As Churchill said, it not the beginning of the end, but perhaps the end of the beginning. The wild card is what will Sarah do with her two captives?
-
Who said a charge? More like a hostage as a bargaining chip.
-
Oh no, they are going to expose that Peter is a dork!
-
I'm not sure what they supposedly have on West? He had an exemplary service record in the British Army, although he did have the incident with MI5. They were in the wrong anyway and West was acting under orders. All I can think of is that he's gay, but that is hardly a secret. This was an excellent chapter, now the gloves are off between Andrew and Silias. I can't imagine it will go well for the General when it's exposed he's a traitor but bad for the government that he was allowed to get there in the first place. I'm sure CSIS has the ability to track the call between Silas and the General, they needed to keep any connection between them secret.

Yani is a bit of an unsung hero. Never underestimate Nerd power!

This could get interesting now that Sarah has planted the tracking device on Ned. She has the head start on Andrew, but at least he now knows she is a traitor.
