Boy needs a real Herman Nelson, mainstay of the arctic when you're trying to coax a frozen Diesel to come to life.

Umm, Yeah. No coffee, back to bed!

While I was out on the garage working on the car, this story was percolating in the back of my mind. Silas doesn't seem the type to leave anything to chance, yet they seem to be hoping that Bob Hesston will A) Be willing to step back into politics, B ) The party will accept him as leader again, C) he could be elected an MP, and D) be willing to back their agenda. What's Plan B if Hesston says no? With him asking Will to look after his grandchild after his death that doesn't seem to me to make A likely; he seems to feel that he doesn't have a lot of time left. As for B, there are always plenty of younger people with aspirations of power, I can't see them stepping aside to let Bob resume being leader. Given how close he seems to the Carters, I can't see D being likely either. If he really was anti-gay, the last thing he would do would be to entrust his grandson into a house of gay men. This seems like a giant gaping hole in Fathers plan to install a friendly government in Canada. Maybe he was mistaken for a drag queen I saw, Gay Ping Hole? PS: Instead of 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8, I'm 1A-6B-5A-2B-3A-4B-6A-1B-2A-5B-4A-3B.

Hurray, and thank you! And a Happy Thanksgiving to all the Canadians.

Good Moaning Officer Crabtree! I have been practicing my dark arts, much like Andrew is; although mine involved exciting silver (i.e. black and white photography). I came out of the darkroom after developing a batch of film to find a new story notification. Perfect reading while I wait for film to dry and a new batch of developer is in the magnetic stirrer to use with the next batch of film. So interesting that Sarah is in the inner circle and suggesting that the PM thinks Carter is the one to save the country (but of course he is) and wants to stop a potential scandal. Or does he? Hmmm.

That looks like the back side of Mt Rundle at Banff, I was there today. A beautiful fall day with the deep blue sky. The photo was about an hour before sunset. The other side of the mountain from the gif above.

It's also here in large numbers, but it's different. It's a different menu, Starbucks is about the coffee, Tim's is more coffee and food. You can go to Tim's for breakfast or lunch, you wouldn't do that at a Starbucks. I also think Starbucks is more pretentious, Tim's has none of that. It's a place anyone would go, from a country people's gathering spot, to construction workers to business people, everyone goes there.

It is. Started in 1964 in Hamilton, Ontario. Now it's pretty ubiquitous coast to coast. It's become something of a Canadian icon.

Not just because of the maple glazed or apple fritters either!

That seems rather reckless of the bruiser to try something in a place so public and negligent of the RCMP to not keep Will in sight at all times. I would have though that keeping eyes on the principal at all times was a basic function of a protection detail.

I was amazed to see a Tim's in Madrid and in the motorway services in Southern Spain.

I really felt for Will. Sometimes it is better to make the scene saying "no" rather than be dragged into something against your will.

How much was a computer? Could have bought the package and resold the computer? Or do like Andrew and drink tea. So much easier. A proper tea drinking heavily armed homo - what's not to love?
-
Has Will been trained in unarmed combat executions? I do hope so.

Or there is a leadership challenge and the PM has to stepdown and a new leader is chosen and becomes PM? Just like very recently with Trudeau/Carney.

At once time both Aston and Jaguar were owned by Ford. Close enough? I toured the Browns Lane factory before it closed and near the end of the XJ8 assembly line was a pile of boxes marked "Made in Canada". I had to ask what they were, and it turned out they were block heaters, made in Winnipeg!

He can rebuild the 69 for Sunday drives and he needs a Jaguar F Type for the high performance driving. A friend of mine is a "pro driver" for Jaguar, he demonstrates what the car can do on a track. It's a very capable car, I had a ride once and I have never gone so fast on land before. I think a 747 taking off is slower😮

I would think a DNA test would stop any paternity claim dead in it's tracks.

Love me some film cameras🥰 Nothing more relaxing that spending a Sunday evening in the darkroom with some good jazz on in the background. Every time I put the exposed piece of paper into the tray with developer it's still magic to watch the image come up under the safelights.

The Major? Isn't he dead by the time this book takes place?

Peter is the only one I can think of other than Marc, but that was a long time ago before Wil was with Andrew.

Andrew has a big job ahead of him. I've done a couple of restorations ( not of a car as simple as a Mustang though) and they always take twice as long and cost 3 times as much as you think they will. A fantastic learning experience though, Jacob will have a lifetime of skills acquired working beside Andrew.

I'm glad to hear that West got out of Iraq and the British Army in one piece after the previous Will debacle.

I'm a Brit at heart, I'll take a cuppa.🫖
