Anyone heard of defense mechanisms? Aaron shows signs of projection in which he blames others (Rory) or other circumstances when he should be accepting resposibility. I think that's why he lies so much...he can't handle the fact that he screws up...a lot. Maybe his ragged relationship with his family has something to do with his pathological lying.
