Glad you enjoyed it. The feedback I've gotten over the years on this story alone is enough to keep me writing.

thanks for the feedback. This story always meant a lot to me. I really need to get back to writing.

glad you've enjoyed it. I really do need to buckle down and get back to writing and finalize what I do have written.

A Lot of things can happen over the summer. Upon returning to school Kyle finds he is no longer one of the most popular kids in school and his best friend has now become his worst enemy. Now Kyle dances along the lines of a rebellious trouble maker and a victim of hate.

“Kyle…Kyle! Wait up man.” shouted Brian as he came running through the school doors. Kyle didn’t pause, and didn’t turn back to look at Brian. It seemed as though he was completely unaware of the boy running to catch up with him. As Brian came to walk along side Kyle, it was only then that Kyle spoke. “Go away…” “Where are you going?” What are you going to do?” asked Brian, staring sideways at Kyle, who for the most part had cast his view to the sidewalk. “Brian you need to get away

School a place meant to build you up and prepare you for the world. Given the right elements and circumstances can tear you down and destroy your outlook on the future. In prison, good behavior gets you a second chance, an opportunity at early freedom. In school, it seems good behavior just makes things harder. You look around at the kids who skip class all the time, who smoke in the bathrooms and somehow they seem better off. Sometimes you have to stop and wonder why you bother in the first pla

The alarm only sounded for a few seconds before Kyle’s hand flew out and switched it off. He’d already been awake for a few hours, thinking. Today, was going to be…different. Again and again, he milled over the ideas he’d had. Morning had come and he was still thinking it over. Sliding out of bed, he moved into his bathroom and stood in front of the sink looking himself over in the mirror. The bruises on his face had begun to fade but they were still visible, the scrapes and scratches had healed

Making his way into the store, Kyle headed directly towards the Playstation 2 game section, taking a quick glance at the new Playstation 3 games on his way. Kyle had just gotten an Xbox 360 from his dad a few months back and was satisfied with that, the new PS3 could wait. Browsing through the new games, he was pleased to come across the very game he was after. He couldn’t wait to see if the guys could actually make out with each other. Not to mention it was one of those random violence type

“Get your lazy ass up already!” Kyle shot out of bed as his father’s deep voice shouted up the stairs, more than surprised by the sudden interruption of his peaceful sleep. His movement quickly reminded him of his injuries. He took in a sharp breathe as he sat up in his bed and tucked his right arm into his side. He was in pretty bad shape this morning to be sure. “I expect this house to be clean when I get home, son. If you think you're going to lie around all day on your pathetic ass you’re wr

Night seemed to take the place of day before its time. And it found Kyle in that same alley behind the corner store. A light rain had begun just about an hour ago and Kyle was now laying face down in a slowly forming puddle. His face was covered in bruises as was the rest of his body as he’d find out later. Kyle was only starting to come around slowly being pulled back into consciousness by the increasing presence of water around his nose and mouth. From time to time a small sputter could be he

Young man, if you keep this up you will be expelled from the school before the end of this semester; do you understand me, Mr. Wellmen?” The Principal was blowing smoke once again. He always threatened to expel Kyle, as a Principal expulsion is the biggest gun in his arsenal. What can you say to a troubled boy who seemingly doesn’t care what happens to himself or his future. And in truth, it wasn’t always Kyle’s fault. The others kids certainly don’t take it easy on him. Before Mr. Longwell fini

It was around dinner time as Kyle entered his home; something that hadn’t meant much in a long while. When his mother was alive, the house would have been filled with the smells of newly cooked food at this point in the evening. He could recall many times exiting the school bus and practically following the smell of his mothers cooking to the front door. In the six years since her passing, dinner at the Wellmen household consisted of simply grabbing a plate of whatever had been prepared and t

Jacob was always different and, from the time he was born, he and everyone around him knew it. Jacob didn’t cry when he was born, in fact he made not a single sound. And other than that, he was a completely normal and healthy baby, as far as the doctors could tell. Time went by as it always does and as he got a bit older, Jacob was a popular kid. He always had lots of friends and everyone seemed to take to him quickly. Even adults couldn’t deny that there was something special about that litt

In the beginning, I thought I'd passed out and was just coming to. Only when I opened my eyes there was nothing. It wasn't dark and I wasn't blind, there was simply nothing. A vast white emptiness as far as I could see and as I slowly picked my self up I realized I had been laying on nothing, there was no floor no solid ground. I was stationary but there was nothing to hold on to nothing to give me a sense of location or positioning. And as I began to ponder just that it seemed I was no longer s

There was very little chatter as we traveled. This was accompanied by the skillful silence of my captors. In fact, so silent were their movements in general that even with my inhuman senses I would often lose sight of the fact that there were so many people around me. The harsh silence was accented by the cold of the night air as it clung to my skin. My discomfort didn't help much, hanging upside down from a log, blindfolded and gagged; I was completely vulnerable. My mind was still a jumble of

A Cursed Life pt 5 It's like looking over a mathematical equation and realizing that despite the calculation being worked out correctly the given answer is still wrong. For a moment or two, your brain almost takes a pause, having no knowledge of how to proceed from that point. I was tossed to the ground roughly and felt a foot placed in the center of my back to keep me there. At this point, I had little thought of trying to escape or fighting them off. As far as I could tell there wer

97 B.C The sun had just slipped beneath the horizon; I had made it a point to be up and waiting for that moment. I would never in this new life be truly able to look upon the sun, being caught in its light would mean my death. But in those moments right after the sun had slipped beyond the horizon when it was still light out, it was safe to venture out as long as I covered up. It was then when I could almost hear the sun burning the earth just beyond the edge of the horizo

The protagonist, a centuries old vampire tells us of his death and rebirth into darkness at the age of 17, deals with trying to remember several years of his life that are blocked from his memory as well as coming to grips with his vampiric lineage. ~Where you end up in life is not so important as how you got there~

97. B.C The Romans have long since pushed the Etruscans from Italy; their Republic has taken root and swelled quickly. They wasted no time in acquiring an empire. War after war was waged, and in just over two hundred years, having defeated all direct enemies and destroyed their chief rival, the Romans went on to conquer Spain, North Africa, Corsica, and Sardinia, virtually unchecked. Such were the times... It comes to me slowly, at the edge of my mind, just beyond

Ch2. Foreshadowing There are a great many differences between the lives of man and the lives we live, none more different than our births. For one, a vampire can be born after many years of having already lived. And most importantly, a person must first die to be born again a vampire. This process of dying and then turning is not as simple as that though. It can take days or even weeks for a person to die after being bitten by a vampire. The very moment a vampire bites you

The year is now 2005, the day December 5th, and man has become more than just the animal we once hunted and preyed upon. In the wake of the changing era: of light and electricity, of horses and carriages, the world now has computers and high powered vehicles. Man can take to the air in large birds and cross oceans in only a few hours. They've become Gods; mortal, fragile, Gods. I've seen all this with my own eyes, as I have lived more than a dozen of their human lives. Time has

The touch is nice and all but to cost what it does and only offer 8GBs compared to equally efficent players that have storage in the 4GB-80GB range just never set right with me. If you look around there a number of reviews that compare the 80gb iPod and the zune 80gb. Which is considered a fair comparison. Where is the zune vs touch isn't. Lol. I enjoy my vista btw. It's not mindblowing or anything it's just another operating system but it has a few features that I like. No real complaints though.

I've got the weekend off and at the moment I'm putting in a little work on my stories. My plan so far consists of just hanging out and taking it easy. Tomorrow i'll workout and hang with some friends and most likely hit the club, I haven't been in awhile. Sunday...veg time. I plan to just rest and catch up on some much needed sleep.
