    Starting Over

I haven't reviewed these last few chapters as I couldn't stop reading. Dom I hope you still read these reviews... anyway... first off I love the story and the way it is developing. Grief can cause irrationality but poor Rory being thrown for such a loop. Personally I think Alice is the one that needs to apologize to both Eddie and Rory, but again as Eddie said it was Gina's decision and a mother will always protect her child first no matter if they think it is right or wrong. Problem is once in the pattern the right time never happens and then it is too late. Okay I may be female but even I recognize the signs of a gay household, Rory honestly cannot be that innocent or blind when he too is gay. Saying Jase was his Uncle was a stupid thing to do and for Luke he is in a no win situation, obviously he knows the truth but can't say anything, it is not up to him anyway but guys really!!! Again grief can blind you to the obvious but in regards to Aaron and Luke that does need to be cleared up. They obviously had a relationship and it broke up and I really hope that Aaron doesn't hurt Rory because I can't see Aaron telling Rory anything and we know he won't ask. Teenagers are a trial no matter what lol I am glad Rory is giving Eddie a chance and now I am going onto the next chapter.

    Chapter 9

Wow this was a very intense chapter. I am so happy that he has his family's full support and that the team, well most, stood by him. What Spencer, Campbell and even Jerry did was commendable. I am so happy he has Robbie, he sounds sweet and ending it with the airport seen and his face lighting up can only mean that Robbie is there. So yes will Robbie use this opportunity to come out as well?? I have to agree with Rudy though when is the next chapter coming out? Can't wait to read how he went with Jay

    Chapter 7

Another brilliant chapter and again OMG what a thriller. Way to go Jason I have never watched a game but even I was impressed and on the edge of my seat, as though I was there in the stadium. I am pleased Spencer stuck up and stood by Jason and Patrick and bye bye Favre and good riddance. Anyway onto the next chapter to see what happens and so proud of Jason for telling the team

    Chapter 5

OMG I hate cliffhangers but by god that was brilliant. If what Tony said is true then that is more than an insult that is utterly disgraceful. To me that is like award wage pay for slave labor. I honestly hope that Jason does get head hunted wouldn't that be a kick in the ass not only for Mr High and Mighty Jones, attorneys but also for Mr Favre who knows he did not deserve the position that was bought for him. Okay rant over - but wow

    Chapter 4

Yes it definitely is gathering momentum and getting interesting. I think what Favre did was wrong and spiteful. I also thing that what Jerry said to the coach is also wrong and I hope the character that you have shown us so far of Coach Campbell holds true and there is no favoritism. Jason should be given a chance as obviously what happened after Rose Bowl, he was hurt badly and nearly died. I can only presume as they are protecting the school that the coach at the time allowed a gay bashing and in a team environment that is dangerous. Anyway onto the next chapter to see how day 3 goes. I am glad Jason has a friend too and I hope they both get picked

    Chapter 3

This was another great chapter. I won't correct you on wrong wording as I have said before I don't know the game hehe but I understood what you meant. I think Coach Campbell was correct in sending Harris off, as he said he doesn't need anymore prima donnas!! Jason showed the Cowboys watching that he works hard and from what I have read for a lot of the team that is what they have been lacking and so need. To me inexperience is a good thing as there is no pre conceived ideas and they each get to learn, understand and relate to each other openly and honestly. He showed that with the Sunday game and the guys that were in the huddle knew that and respected that hence they won. That in itself should say something. I like the way that he is not favoured over others and still has to try out. To me that is the sign of a good coach. Jason and Thelma, BFF's for gay guy's who are girls are the most solid and loyal of friends but the extra issue of Thelma being in love with Jason is not a good thing. Yes someone will get hurt, either by Thelma finding someone who she will be able to love and be loved in return or worse Jason finding someone - that is never going to be easy for her. I do agree she can't put her life on hold for Jason but I respect her wish to be there when he is alone without his family nearby, even though they are a loyal bunch and would be there in a heart beat if he needed them. I understand what his parents were doing but I think that should have been a dinner conversation not a restaurant and also he should know his children would never set out to hurt their brother who they all obviously love and protect Now Favre hmm I respected him for what he told the Coach and then for taking the time to think about it. Some of his advise was good advise to Jason but then he got arrogant. It will be interesting if he did that to get a rise out of Jason to push himself harder or if he has changed his mind and is going to stick it out.

    Chapter 2

I too am enjoying your story and let's hope that Thelma stays true to her friendship as it is obvious she knows all about Jason and as a mother I have to agree that although I admire her loyalty being upfront from the beginning is always better because then it will never hit you when you least expect it. That said youngsters always think they know better than their elders!!! I agree this is going to be a rollercoaster ride me thinks and Jason needs to keep his self confidence up Onto the next chapter for me then sleep.... I hope lol

    Chapter 1

Hello Jacob, First off I live in Australia so do not know American football well but even Down Under we have heard of the Dallas Cowboys and even I was rooting for them, even though I have no idea what a huck is lol. Very impressed with how Jason handled himself being thrown into the gauntlet like that and it shows that greats sportsmanship is still out there, no matter how much they are paid. I agree with Coach Campbell in that there should have been fouls called when the first two quarterbacks were injured, one may never play again to me that is a serious issue and the Redskins should be fined. Rugby and AFL players here do if it is too rough a tackle!! To your question re: this story I like it. The way you intrigued us right from the first paragraph kept me reading and now I can't stop. I have not read any of your other stories.... yet.... I will be though. Keep going and well done
