    Chapter 15

  2. Fifteen Jenny-Lynn’s command hung in the air for one stunned beat before the kitchen exploded into motion. Clovis, the invisible man, unfolded himself from behind the newspaper and headed straight for the hall closet, muttering something about needing his armored car for maximum public deterrence. Lydia was already shrugging into her leather jacket, her eyes bright with the thrill of strategic drama. “Right, Captain Boy-scout, let’s go. Keys to the Volvo, please. You’re in no state to

    Chapter 13

Perhaps, but it works for them. Will is being targeted, not just through Rawlins, but by the Americans, by other politicians, it's the price a person pays for being at the level of politics he is in. Every step could plunge him into disaster if he is not careful. And it has to be exhausting to him. And we know what happens when Will get's too stressed. The question becomes can Andrew protect Will, can West? Next chapter, Lisa's up to the plate, and she was there.

  6. Chapter Thirteen WORLD END: T-minus 155days, 16 hours, and 0 minutes. The Garage at 308 Manor Avenue, Ottawa – Carter Residence The massive, double-wide garage at the Carter residence was Andrew’s sanctuary. Here, the hum of fluorescent lights replaced the sterile drone of the CSIS command center, and the scent of oil, solvent, and old gasoline stood in stark, honest contrast to the lies and paranoia of the intelligence world. In the center sat a hulking, half-disassembled beast:

    Chapter 11

It's funny to see the start of Mister Blake Wolochowski's love of Shakespeare and why he's so good at it.

    Chapter 12

True, it's very much an attack of opportunity. Will is a public figure, the fact that he was travelling that night, put his husband Andrew in a very specific place at a specific time. A perfect time to hit one of the leaders of a pre-eminant Spy agency. And killing Andrew would damage CSIS, plenty of opportunists would love to see that. Andrew needs to get a new car

  15. Fourteen The Hickey kitchen was a symphony of comfortable chaos. Sunlight streamed through the bay window, illuminating the fine dust motes dancing in the air above the flour that still dusted the countertop. The scent of maple syrup and hot butter was slowly yielding to the scent of burnt toast and a faint, sweet smell of teenage anxiety. Clovis had moved into the hall, his deep voice muffled as he took a call from Steve’s mother. Lydia, cursing darkly about drama, llamas, and boys,

    Chapter 12

This is a legally distinct Chinese knock off. But thank you, as I said A LOT of research went into getting the speech pattern right. I find it rough in places, but over all I am happy with it.

    Chapter 13

I promise I will write about it. I think it's another heavy chapter, and I like to space them out in a more light-hearted story. Besides, we all know Andrew buried the old Bastard in the back woods with a back hoe. Andrew is remarkably pragmatic on these things and all things considered, unafraid to deal with a Neo-Nazi on the kind of terms that will balance the ledger.

    Chapter 12

This was an interesting and challenging one to write. A lot of reading the Comey biographical account of his meetings with Trump to get the cadence and the speech pattern. It's a bit rough in places, but i think I hit the notes right. It was difficult being respectful of the man and the office, while still maintaining Will's integrity. It was a good test of the Diplomatic side of Will we saw develop in the last book and a good test for me to try to write something... balanced between the two men.

  20. Chapter Twelve WORLD END: T-minus 169days, 15 hours, and 0 minutes. The Oval Office, Washington D.C – United States of America Will crossed the threshold into the Oval Office and felt the full, isolating reality of the trap closing around him. The room was smaller than television suggested, yet possessed a gravity that amplified the sheer unpredictability of the man standing by the desk. Will instinctively straightened, his diplomatic training taking over. He extended his

    Chapter 13

Blake's side was told in Carter's shadow, he dated West right after Jason. Then he dated Matt. His story is continued in Recourse where he is roommates with Marc, and dates Yani And again in Breach where he interviews Will as a reporter for the Toronto Star. He was notorious for picking unstable relationships. Considering he was in love with Jason through it all, we now know why.

    Chapter 13

“Oh Kenny,” Sally blinked and shook her head. “What’s he going to do, he’s such a sensitive boy… he’s not going to understand.” Jenny affixed Sally with a look, thinking to the nervous boy she’d watched kissing her son in the next yard over from her bedroom window. “Oh, I think he will be fine with it…” Sally looked up, “really? I worry about him. He’s so confused…” “Not that confused,” Jenny answered, trying to bite back from telling Sally outright what she knew. “And he’s so straight-laced,” Sally continued. “I’d say he’s loosened up a little since he met Steve,” Jenny again tried to bite back her words. “Steve is so good for him, he’s getting him out of his shell, getting him to try new things.” Sally smiled into her tea. “Oh, he’s definitely doing that…” Jenny nodded. “I just want them both to be happy,” Sally murmured absently. “They’re getting there, I am pretty sure,” Jenny swallowed her tea, deciding having one of the Jensen boys outed to Sally in a day was quite enough trauma for the little church lady.

    Chapter 10

So Brutally true. Jason here was trapped, Brad offered him friendship, money, belonging. The threat of his father beating him hanging over his head. His desperation due to neglect. And Blake having walked away from him less than a week before... And along comes West. From a loving home, fed, standing up to Brad, being unrepentant, unafraid and Gay. He was everything that Jason wanted to be, and that twists a person like a knife. But West was also a light that guided Jason out of his darkness. Just took him a while to realize it. It's so easy to fall into these traps out of desperation.
