ten The engine was a soft, purring presence, a low rumble that was more felt than heard. Jason sat in the quiet dark of his older Subaru Forrester, the dashboard lights a faint, green glow against the black. He was tucked away in the back of the high school parking lot, a silent voyeur to the spectacle across the asphalt. From his thermos, a plume of steam curled into the cold September air, a single, lazy ghost. He took a long sip of the hot tea, the familiar taste of Earl Grey a comfort o

It's sad because no where in the book, does Jesus profess an opinion on it. In fact, he is quite deliberately shown as embracing love in all it's forms. The fact that he is the new covenant.... I could go into the literary, philosophical and debate the scripture. But that's best saved for the text of the book, and will be addressed. I just don't think the comment section is the right place for the discussion Just know that you are thought of and cared about, and that your situation over there is rough and respected. I hope my writing can give you a bit of an escape from it.

Probably the same way he felt when he went into Jerusalem and saw the temple. And I fear, he would be treated the same way he was treated then. It is funny how a 2000 year old book can so accurately describe the current state of it's own religion and be so fundamentally misunderstood, forgotten, and misrepresented.

Chapter Eight WORLD END: T-minus 171 days, 15 hours, and 12 minutes. 308 Manor Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario – Carter Residence The air on the back veranda was crisp with the definitive chill of late September. The scent of woodsmoke from the firepit mixed with the fading aroma of roasted chicken and sizzling trout that clung to the evening. Andrew sat alone, a ceramic mug of steaming tea cradled in his hands, watching the flames dance in the firepit, each spark a brief, fleeting star ag

So you believe that Will would keep a secret from Andrew? What if it is a secret that not even he knows about?

I started the Falcon banner in 2005, it was originally released on DABeagle. Then CRVboy, and eventually here took over as the primary source. There are a few works that I have that aren't released that i will release when I have a lull, I prefer to release newer material right now. It is keeping me honest, and honing my skill. Carter's Order is stronger than Breach (writing and plot wise, though I love Breach, I can see the improvement as I brushed ring rust off of my stills. ) I am getting there, it's hard on my back, and my fingers suffer from trigger finger these days, which is a pain. Need a better keyboard. mines a bit narrow. But I have a solid mechanical one, so I get my delightful CLICK CLACK as I am happilly typing away. Nothing, and I mean, nothing makes me feel happier than just pouring writing onto a page. As Wil used to say 'It's your own, best destiny.' and he was always the wiser of the two of us. (Now if he'd only take his own advice and get back to writing music)

Poor poor Steve, getting called out for his elaborate plan. Though the final description of him is pretty spot on

So who is going to kiss who, and when? or does Lydia need to get her switchblade?
-
Well it is Steve, and he's fond of his plaid. Tell you what, Kenny will find a way to steal it, club it with a shovel and bury it in the back garden never to be worn again.

Volvo's rumble, it's a thing... I swear. and Mother's are always besotted with their sons. AND PLAID is AWESOME!

Nine Steve fiddled with the tie, the suit, brand new, felt a little awkward on him. But he desperately hoped he looked alright. The clerk at Harry Rosen had been more than happy to sell it to the slightly dishevelled, hurried and panicking teenager once he had pulled out a wad of cash and pointed in the general direction of the suits and burbled that he had no idea what he was doing. The clerk, one of the elder and more responsible of the community, took one look, rolled his eye

Andrew's evolution is... it's really interesting to me. He's always been written, even as far back as the first book as : I'm Andrew Carter, deal with it. Not in an arrogant fashion, but in a calm, together, and firm fashion. I don't know why or how, but he's been getting stronger as he's taken the foreground of the book series. Stoic, unrelenting, a bastion. That old school kind of masculine we just don't see anymore in media. I hope it translates to the page that way. I am enjoying writing him, it's a more mature style of character I've never really written before.

This story is evolving quite a lot from the initial concept and I am fascinated watching it unfurl. I generally start with a concept and build a loose outline. This one started slow, but then it started to gain momentum, and the past few days... I think I wrote four chapters of it yesterday... my shoulder hurts But I can't put it down right now.

A few... tiny... tiny ones... :: doesn't look at the carnage of the next ten chapters :: It might be a little ... rough. But remember this time Andrew isn't alone. He has a brother-in-law that's just as fierce, just as protective, and just as dedicated to his husband.
