What an opening to this chapter. I thought the nightmare was real and I had missed a chapter leading up to this. Well done!

Heartwarming chapter. It sets just the right pace. As there has been a lot of drama and distraction it was good to see this chapter focused solely on the development in Jed and Buzz relationship.

I like this chapter as we are able to see the key characters functioning in there day to day life. I am intrigued by the information Parker has found on the computer, why Seth forest and colton??? In the background looming is the prospect of Derek arrival. After this peaceful chapter I am nervous about what will come next. I feel so sorry for Wylie ( though he needs training) what is going to happen to him? If he stays with colton and Parker they will need a crash course in parenting, as neither of them have good examples. Jed and buzz are progressing nicely, meeting Jed's family for dinner was nicely done. This is a lovely example of family acceptance.

Enjoyed this chapter. I love Jed's parents he is so lucky to have such support. I like the developing relationship btw Buzz and Jed.

Another great chapter. So glad that Shell is okay very Interested in who Wylie Belongs to - he seems to be really, really, feral. Good that Buzz has shown that he is capable of being a positive member of the Timber Pack. Miller is a man/lycan you want on your side - not as an enemy. I hope we see more of him.

Another great chapter. Really liked the involvement of Millers pack, he is an interesting character that I am glad to see more of. But why does Miller keep sniffing Jed? Love the fact that Buzz stepped up and joined the hunt, he has been feeling like he is a coward for not defending himself in his own pack. He is showing that he is anything but a coward - when something is worth fighting for. Jed's dad is proving that he is a fine man. ready to step up and defend a neighbouring pack. And finally Buzz is seeing the light, Gay licans are normal, they can be Alphas, they can have mates. p.s love little Parker, he has the heart of a big wolf haha

What an ending!!! I was lulled into a state of happiness because Buzz and Jed are together and have a chance to work on their relationship then you throw in that ending. Poor Shell and the baby - I bet she did not go quietly. one thing we know about Shell is that she is a fighter. Colton is going to need help to track her down - but who can help? He cant call on Forest or his own father - but maybe Jed's dad can help or Miller I just hope they don't try to kill Shell and the baby

Yes!!!!!!...... I was cheering at the end of this chapter. I am so glad Buzz has decided to go. I only hope he makes it out. And he doesn't get attacked trying to get away. Worried about Parker being left alone - hope that he is not going to get hurt. Hope Parkers dad doesn't come back into his life I am loving the insight into and interactions between Jed's family. Bring on the next chapter :-)

Chapter 7. I was left a little speechless after reading this chapter as there is so much to digest. The description of the always upbeat, happy go lucky Jed being depressed was just so sad. The contrast however with Buzz’s life however is stark. At least Jed has a pack who care about how he feels Buzz is in an awful situation in his pack, I was shocked by what was done to Christopher. Just terrible. Derek and his enforcers are truly scary Poor Stan – what on earth went on in the De Soto pack. His reaction to Colton’s voice was just so sad. Shauna – in chapter 6 i thought she might have a heart. Wrong, she is worse than i thought she could be. Can't wait for the next chapter

Another excellent chapter. But poor Jed and poor Buzz with his misplaced loyalty. Interesting that Shauna though pushy, doesn't seem so bad comforting Buzz. And go Parker!! What a proud Alpha mate

Another well written chapter, That really sets out where Jed and Buzz are coming from Jed - is despite his problems is confident and open about who he is. his pack and family love and support him. Buzz- comes from a pack and family that doesn't accept him, homophobic no love shown at all. I am looking forward to how Jed goes about convincing Buzz that there is a better life with his pack. well done

Chapter5 was brilliant. Loved the interaction between Jed and Buzz. In the background there is the shadow of Derek – who its clear scares Buzz so much that he resists the draw of a mate. Jed is going to have to fight for what he wants and i cant wait !!!!

Hurray Chapter 4 love it! Read it this morning and it was such an unexpected treat.... (I still expect a chapter on Saturday as well though). This Chapter contained so much, I don't know where to begin - The introduction of new characters, particularly the mentor for Colton, sets up all sorts of new possibilities will they be allies or enemies? -The arrival of the Forest pack with Jed and Colton's father - will there be a reconciliation? -I was also intrigued by the De Soto Pack member asking after Stan, what is that all about, what does Colton know? And the best bit was ending to the chapter it was brilliant - with Jed meeting Buzz Bring on Chapter 5

I really enjoyed chapter 3 as we get an more of an insight into Buzz's life. which seems to be a life of being bossed around and dominated. In previous chapters we have been introduced to his brother, who seems to be the worst type of Alpha werewolf. Buzz is now "engaged" to a "alpha" female. Who in this chapter subtly (well written) shows her dominant personality. Poor Buzz. I also enjoyed the interactions btw the Timber pack members on there way to Conclave, Particularly btw Colton and Parker, Can't wait for the next chapter.

I have now read chapters 1 ,2, and 3 and my only complaint is that they are too short. Seriously though, i am enjoying the pace of the story as it has allowed me to start building an impression of the key characters. Jed, Buzz, as well as new aspects to Colton and Parker and Trey. Chapter 3 is the start of conclave. Jed who in the first book (TPC1) was a happy go lucky guy with a clear view of his place in the world he has loving family, good friends and success with guys. Because of the fight with the grey wolf he is less sure of himself but he still has the security of family and friends. The description of Buzz life on the other hand couldn’t be more of a contrast, a bully for a brother, who looks down on him because he is gay , and a potential wife to be who seems as if she is cut from the same cloth!! But there is a hint of spirit there in Buzz.. I cant wait to read more – longer chapters please.
