It's a short story. Consider it an interlude. The main feature will be coming in a few days. Over the years I have written several short stories. Usually after reading about something in the news. There are only five parts to this story, you have read part 1.

I was returning home from my office in a downpour of rain. You could see the lightening from a distance, followed by the resounding noise of thunder. Finishing breakfast, I went to open the café. We start to serve breakfast at 7 am. When I went to unlocked the door, there standing by the door was Clark. “Clark, you're early. I think he's on his way back to the living. I'm not a medical expert but it seems that the little episode in the living room triggered something. Friend, seems to be a key word for Billy

After the evening when the wood cracked in the fireplace, I think he relived the trauma in losing his friend, only this time his friend lived. The word 'friend' had a significant effect on Billy.

Over the next few weeks, Billy began to relax, he now helps to prepare the meals and it turned out he was a reasonable cook.
