Freddie, thank you for your sincere comments. I'll tell you one of my secrets. I write as if I was living the life of one of my characters. Now knowing that, I'll let you figure who I am in the story. BtW, I change character several times with in a chapter.\

If you or any of my readers enjoy this story and feel the emotions of the characters, I have done my job. This story reflects life, happiness, sadness, the coming and going of people in our lives. THEY LEAVE A FOOTPRINT ON OUR SOUL I can't remember where I heard oread that comment concerning imprint on our soul. Thanks, I had a Nonna who I based the role of Nonna in my story. My Nonna was special to me as I'm sure your Nonna's were to you. I am of the belief if someone treats me as a son, I'll treat them as a parent. Obvious from your comment, you are the same

My original vacation plans had to be changed. Our visit to Greece and Egypt will have to be next year. In three days we would fly to Italy. I took the boys, I should say the older boys took the younger boys shopping. I told Tommy to be sure and get enough clothes for Carl and a suitcase. I gave Tommy my credit card. Doing that, I thought the older boys should have their own credit card. In the fall they will be off to college and they could use one. I need to talk with Colin about this.

I remember walking to school, no fences nor playground supervision. But that was when every parents and teacher watched the coming and going of students. I played outside, no parent or adult supervision. I wouldn't do that today. No child is safe. Not a pleasant thought.
