I talked to my carpenter and electrician about the apartments. They wanted a tour so I agreed to give them a tour on the coming Monday afternoon. Arriving at the gallery, they wanted to know if I owned the gallery. When I said yes, they wanted to know if I had my paintings there. I said that there were mine and other artists from the school. “Can we enter?” “Of course, it’s open to the public. Tony's reaction is based on his bitterness. Deep down I'll bet he loved his village. What ever happened, has resulted in a deep hurt. if anyone is going to find out, it will be Armand.

Thanks, Tony. You are really something. From now on I'll refer to you as my defender. I am not a grammarian. I pretty much write as I speak. my education has been in the sciences, my degree is in chemical engineering. My stories are written in my vocabulary as if I was one of the characters.

It was the first Saturday in August when I went to the gallery with two new paintings. Walking toward the gallery, I noticed a small boy sitting on the floor looking at a painting by one of the Yale students. I read he resigned party leadership but not as the Prime Minister. You can correct me on that. I would get lost in a gallery, I can't draw a straight line let alone a circle. A friend of mine said drawing was easy, it's a matter of straight lines and circle. he taught art in a school in England.

Yes, the holidays are family times. Don't need the distraction caused by sons and daughters leaving family and friends on holidays. Club personnel need to spend time with loved ones as well.

People in Europe aren't as familiar as we may think. I spent Thanksgiving in Amsterdam at a friends home. We went shopping for a turkey and couldn't find one. I read a notice that a hotel was selling turkey dinners. I bought one, the turkey wasn't large and undercooked, 12 lbs. The stuffing was just bread, the other compliments were Dutch.

Saturday the club reopened, we were back on schedule. Marcel was smart, if he served turkey, no one knew it. The buzz was Thanksgiving with family. Holidays with family always was a great time for me. It seemed that families were closer on a Holiday. For Colin and I, it was special. We had our families and most important we had each other.
