It's always nice to share holidays and particularly when the guest was from Europe

Carlo stayed with us until he had to leave for the Christmas holidays to be with his family in Spain. Colin gave him a copy of the photos he had taken of him in the club and on the roof. I did give him a tour of the gallery, but not the room with the village of Grottaferrata. I needed to show that to just Colin first. Thanksgiving at Colin’s parents home was a joyous time with Carlo. The truth is a sobering experience. Armand is moving towards recognition as a painter. The gallery will be a big advancement in getting his name out in the public.

Marylou can't lie, there are moved of her. No, Carlo didn't have a girl friend. He was the son of the restaurant owners that served primary lamb. Remember them stainding in the courtyard waiting for an empty table.

There was no better gift that Colin could have given Armand. Knowing that he now had his own art gallery, he spent his time in his workshop painting and making his frames. He still like to paint on the third floor of the club except for the times you would find him on the roof. Colin, left a small place in the garage where Armand could make his frames. Armand was happy, he could paint in the morning, he had his own gallery where he could show his paintings, he could also determine which one

Even those paintings sold at auction, the artist never really realized that money. It's a shame a painters value is realized after he is dead. I wonder if an artist set up a trust fund that stipulated a certain percentage of future sales be put in that fund. The fund could be used for future artists.

I don't think Arrow fully realizes his talent. Maybe the gallery will help him.

Yes, Armand had a problem setting a price. if Mrs McNeil kept him updated on the results of her bidding process, he may have felt better.

I painted a new picture of Teresa. The painting I had finished included the steps of the church. This painting was just her. I took it to Yale and left it on the Professors’ desk. He was teaching a class. I was anxious to know what he thought. Several days later, my professor called. He wanted to meet me at the gallery in town. Peter getting out off the pool is a painting I wouldn't mind having but at that price, I'll go and see it ion a galleria. I must say that painting of Rome that you have done is quite impressive. I'll send you Mrs. McNiel address for evaluation and you might think about sending it to Armand's galleria. 😉

As word spreads, they will always be at maximum. Mostly Yale students and since the age limit is 35, those who are members will continue when they have graduated from Yale.

I think there are two reasons, the size of the club is one, the other is the number of people who want to see the mural. He would have to upgrade the security and of course he needs to protect the privacy of the club's members. They have allowed non-club members to have Sunday lunch. So if a reporter wanted to see the mural, he/she could come to lunch on Sunday.

He was when he sold the naked painting of Colin. But you are right, he will be shocked until he realizes that his painting is being acclaimed along with other famous artists.I'll bet Colin has input to the price of his painting.

The bidding system at Mrs. McNiel's galleria gives him some idea but generally the bids are lower what is the true value.
