Oh, well, apparently, memory failed me in that instance π€¦ββοΈπ² Sorry for causing confusion by Mandela effect π or how we say in German: That's how rumors are created π

More Getting Acclimated, and Then Some
Zuri commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in More Getting Acclimated, and Then Some
I leave that to the imagination and interpretation of the reader ππ -
@Bft Happy birthday to your father then π

Otherwise, he might not have changed into a person, Rocky considered a choice for best manβquite a U-turn still, as I explained, but at least an explanation to some degree.

More Explanations, and Hiding Things From Rocky

No, but the bar has one more surprise for him in store that he's eager to receive π (hope, that's not saying too much) -
Sure, but that doesn't explain why Manny changed so drastically.

Yeah, I dislike them probably about equally as much as you do, but this was meant to be as kind of a parody rather than endorsement. -
Howdy, Rowdy! Welcome to GA π If you have any questions or need help with something on this site, please do not hesitate to ask for it π Beyond that, what @Mancunian said ^^

That's a good example of "you never stop learning". New labels are created every day, some are more specific, some more broad. As long as more and more people find one that fits them or maybe come to the realization, they don't need any, that's a good thing, in my opinion. I'm happy, you enjoyed the story. Thank you for reading it π I hope, "challenging" in a good way π

@drown It's so funny, since @Gary L is currently reading this story and we had a series of vandalism in the LGBT wiki recently, which also involved the article about aego. So, after reverting the vandalism, I checked if I hadn't missed anything by skimming over the article, which caused me to read the definition of the term. I have to admit, you might have been on to something, I wasn't able to see back then π By the way, for some who might be interested: https://chimeriquement.itch.io/kissing-snow-white

Welcome to GA, Triapze! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask any of us here What genre is your slow-burn fanfic in? And in which will be your original works in? Care to share the name of the game? Maybe, others in this thread also played said game or would if someone recommended it to them.

Child Protective Services Helps, Sort Of
Zuri commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Child Protective Services Helps, Sort Of
Comparing her to a sex worker is actually offending to the sex worker. You really surprised me with the mid-chapter twist. I didn't see that coming π± Would have been interesting how Nick would have reacted to Brendan's thought commenting on the situation As long as nobody calls the cops on him You've been at Walmartβhow did you manage to get home without food? Splendid β¦ Why do I get the feeling, that Greg is not merely a friend? -
Oh, sorry, I wasn't referring to you but rather to them. Sorry for the misunderstanding π¬

Why can't people post full covers? I doubt, they only played half of it and stopped midway. It's not like songs are usually hour-long concerts.

One Parent Full of Shit, and a Foster Parent Waits
Zuri commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in One Parent Full of Shit, and a Foster Parent Waits
Oh, sweet summer child! In America, a lot of what is considered standard in terms of work in the rest of the western world, is considered "socialism" (see "red scare"). Americans are told to work hard for themselves, go the long way, and refuse to take shortcuts, essentially. Capitalism in one of its purest forms. Why, do you think, creating workers councils, workers cooperatives, and unions barely works in the US? International Workers' Day ("Labour Day") is even deliberately put on another day and given another narrative, so people don't get ideas. -
Do I Really Need This Now?
Zuri commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Do I Really Need This Now?
Well, is Brendon ever not the good guy? They do have at least some chemistry. They could become a great duo. Wow, burning their child's hand and cutting it, that's terrible already but throwing your seven-year-old son out, is beyond words β¦ π± And leaving it at that wasn't enough, was it? Sexual violence β¦ again β¦ Yeah, well, let's see how it goes β¦ -
Yeah, if my industry sector isn't tough because of the workplace dynamics, I don't know what is π Sounds intriguing to having someone holding up the mirror into one's face π π€

We have a forum to specifically ask for editors if needed (or ask me or other editors directly if you know they edit π) You can check out and subscribe to people's blogs (mine for example π) as well as the site blogs (like "writing tips") There are also some quite interesting YouTube channels about writing: Hello Future Me Writing with Jenna Moreci more β¦ There's also a club called "Critique room", however, I didn't check it out myself yet

GA shines at bringing together people from all kinds of backgrounds and with so vastly different writing styles. There's something for everyone. Writing is such an interesting thingβthat's why I enjoy both writing and editing so much (even though, I currently have a hard time with the former π ). And one never stops learning anyway, it shows. I must say, short stories are not my strong suit, but I bet there are some authors here who excel at these.

And in different places, let's say one of your stories vs the forum, either one or the other number is shown next to your post. Also, it can be confusing, which number correlates with your rank. Another confusing thing, I had to wrap my head around is the upload quota: When you are in the inbox, it says something like this in the top right corner: Sometimes, you get an error message that your quota is used up entirely and you might wonder why, because this 6 % is a tad different from 100 %. Only when you go to "My attachments" in your profile menu in the top navigation, you see this: Quite fun when you don't know this π

Fringe is one of my favorite shows π Yeah, the cancellation practice has become worse with Netflix killing most shows off because they don't want to pay more, regardless of plot, success, following, revenue, etc.

Yeah, this happens, when one abuses one's software to do things it wasn't directly designed to fit a use case for a knocked together tool π But once the status is changed and one has wrapped their head around that one can follow both the user and the author page of an author separately and stuff like this, GA becomes quite a fun and lovely experience, at least for me Did you choose the GIF of Olivia Dunham off-the-cuff or are you a Fringe fan?
